What suggestion would you like to make? Try to be more specific than "pay us more money."  Pretend you're on a task force and (this is really a stretch I know) that someone values your opinion.  What would you suggest?

One of my top ones would be to fix the fuzzy physician search that has been disabled for almost a year.  Another would be to get India on the same system we use, with Job Search available.  It's obvious they don't have it because they leave so many blanks that could easily be filled in if they had Job Search.  There MM, now wouldn't that save you money in the long run?

And rotate holidays. No one should have to work both xmas eve and xmas day! One year off xmas eve, work xmas day and the next year work xmas eve and off xmas day!

I think its insane that I volunteered to work 4 hours on thanksgiving to help others to take some time off and then be denied xmas eve off even though I have to work xmas day! Stupidity! I will never volunteer more hours on a holiday again!

Here's my suggestion....if we are going to be forced to do editing only, or at least 99% of the time, how about we have the computer actually learn the corrections we are making? Wouldn't that be special? How many times have we corrected Xarelto?

Off shore the CEO and upper management positions and only pay 1/100th of what is paid to an American for the same work. This would save MM lots of money and they could pay off all their debt and give us a raise of perhaps 1 cent more a line.

I'd say on focus audits don't ding us because we miss an "a" or a "the" if it doesn't compromise patient care. And realistically look at that 99.6% quality score. And don't put doctors on ASR that really do not belong on it; have stricter criteria on who qualifies for it.

Ok I'll bite and pretend that management cares what I think. Some companies (one that just got swallowed up by Nuance) paid their employees on a sliding scale for ASR. The more you did the more you made. How much harder would people work if they knew at 200 lph average for the week their ASR pay rate for all lines would go up half a cent or if they hit 250 it would go up even more?

I also think allowing us to flex our schedule by more than 15 minutes would be a suggestion. Can we have a 10-hour window or even 30 minutes either side of our shift? And for those who watch the backlogs make a threshold for each account that when it is over that threshold employees can hop on and work without asking for permission or waiting for emails asking for help. Let us take some ownership in our accounts/BOB.

I'm a high producer and self starter. I haven't been put on PM yet but fear I might.  Got an email that said I had a "low-scoring feedback report."  It was for using follow up instead of followup (I know better) and then omitting the word "the."  Now, I will own up to these mistakes, they WERE my mistakes, but by no means life-threatening in any case.  But apparently this caused my score to drop below 98%.  Now I'm terrified they are going drop my pay by 3 cents a line, and I am already in danger of not being able to ...

I strive to make each document excellent, not just good, but no one cares about that, all they want is LPH which mysteriously went from 100 to 200 for the same pay. Nuance has just had a MAJOR announcement!  They are making changes to upper management AGAIN.  It is no wonder we get paid crap.  Look at their structure and they have WAY too many people in this establishment and all making way more than we do and we are the ones that do the work.  Heck, they probably do not even know how to do transcription I bet.  Greed, greed, greed.  And I could care less about it.  Give me the pay I am worth.  They want better qualit ...

The TSM and QC person I've worked with forEVVVVER in the west is gone, both of them being moved up into new positions, and dividing their accounts and the entire team of MTs/MMEs has been disassembled and moved to other areas.  I am *terribly* sad about this because they were both absolutely amazing to work for, but I'm glad that I'll be staying in the Western region.
