Netmed rude management - beentheredoneit

Posted: Dec 16, 2011

***** from Netmed was rude. Passed testing 100%, then told me no openings.  She seemed distracted and angry at me.. I was out the door before I got in..

I worked there a while back and hated it. They have some really crappy work - sm

I wasn't too impressed with the way I was treated either. I think most of their people have been there for a while and when they hire a new person, it is for the stuff no one else wants to do. This, of course, is just my opinion.

netmed - you dodged a bullet!! - whoami?

i worked for them and had a horrible experience - pay was way off - platform was horrible, template was automatic and it automatically deducted however many characters were there to begin, so you didn't get paid for anything you changed, which was everything! - and to top it off, after responding as I am now on here, the owner repeatedly emailed me calling me names and the big "who are you?" - it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who i was unless many had had the same problems - take a pass if you can! and can't wait to get your emails Mr. *****!!!

not sure who you worked for but it wasnt NetMed - i dont have that experience - no name

go ahead and give up a great job.. more work for me. lol

Nice to see you, Tami - Beentheredonethat

If this post was from a real employee, wouldn't have to post as "no name.". So, it's either Tami or Mr. ******! Give me a break! Their platform is the absolute worst! You will spend the majority of your time between the 6 or 8 windows you have to have open to finish ONE job! Upper management is very rude and demanding after initial niceties are over. And if you really felt the "more work for me" attitude, you wouldn't want people applying, which is just another indication this is a suit! Don't say you weren't warned to turn and run the other way!
not tami - name is mary thank you and sm - Mary- no name

it just seems you are bitter. Just wanted to say that i do not have that experience at all. I open up one window, click on it, and start typing.

Maybe things have gotten better. NOt sure why you are attacking me. just stated i have had a positive experience with them.

so if anyone wants to ask me questions on the truth how things are run now, then please feel free to email me.

Not sure if you had problems in the past, but there are no problems now. Sorry if you had a bad experience.
oh my - whoami?

i wasn't the one to reply to you, but the one who originally posted this thread within the original thread - you may not be in trouble for going against your signed statement that you would not post here and in fact, you might get an extra lunch for being a cheerleader - let us know how things are going in a year or so - i'm positive you'll be on the "other" side of the fence "mary"

Ex NetMed and - Happy about it!

I had the most horrible experience with NetMed. Not only is beentheredonethat correct when she says "at least 6-8 tabs open at a time", you had to search adinfanauseum to get the correct doc names and addresses and if you were wrong WATCH OUT FOR QA! They didn't even try to be nice about it. I could go on and on about this horrible company. You are an employee - you won't see much posted on the forums about them as the employees HAVE to sign an agreement that prohibits posting anything at all about the company online.

You do NOT get an assigned shift, altho that is implied during the initial intake - I had to drive over 4 hours to get there to do hands-on training - another joke! Uncompensated BTW.

Work runs out on a daily basis and the way their platform works, cherry picking as well as job stealing is rampant! They do not follow State laws with regards to minimum wage at all. They also follow NOTHING in the employee handbook that I had to sign as I agreed to the terms.

That being said, if the actual OWNER actually reads these posts, here is my advise to you:

You have a big turn around in employees because the management you have hired to run your business (so you can be an absentee owner) does not care 1 iota about your employees! In fact, I think upper management likes the turn around as it enables all of them a free lunch at a fancy restaurant on a frequent basis.

You know, the free lunch was nice, it did not have to be so expensive and long, almost 2 hours when I could have been learning the platform and headed by home. I would have been happy with McDonald's brought to the training session and a gas card to compensate me at least for that.

Not only were my fellow trainees at the luncheon, but also 8 other NetMed employees so we "could get to know everyone". Aside from the appetizer that was enjoyed 100% by the 8 managers, each person's meal was in excess of $10 each - add that up. This little get acquainted lunch cost the OWNER over $120.

Wake up Owner of NetMed - you have a good company, a do-able platform (not the best) but your managers are bleeding you dry while your employees (you know the ones who type and type and type?) are in the poor house!

Rude QA
Sep 13, 2010

Have to say, have been with this company for over 2 years and have always found QA helpful and informative.  Today; however, I ran into my first "smart %&^%".  I am sure they have a lot of work and attitudes to deal with, but....  I am sure sarcastic remarks will come back to bit this person in the butt at some point.  Their function is to assist the MTs in making an accurate report for the customers, pointers and assistance are great.  Ridicule,  not so much.&n ...

Rude QAs
Mar 18, 2012

I have encountered my first rude QA at this company (Transcend).  My audit scores last week were 100%.  The week before that 99% and 100%.  They have never been below 98% but are usually around 99%.  Starting receiving a new worktype and I sent some reports to QA because I didn't know what the heck the doc was saying.  The SR didn't even pick him up because he is difficult to understand.  Besides the fact, I hadn't transcribed his reports but a few ti ...

My CCM Is So RUDE. This Is
Apr 11, 2012

apparently the first time she's ever had any power & she doesn't know how to professionally handle it.  I've been a supervisor before.  This is not how you treat employees.  We are all adults, in this together, working as a team.  We're not children to be talked down to.  Asking nicely for something works a lot better than threats & rudeness.  I would love to transfer to a more professional, less nasty CCM.  The one I had before was ...

Rude People
Dec 15, 2009

Why has everyone gotten so rude.  You apply for jobs and you can sense the "Tude" through the E-mails - if they are kind enough to send you one!  35+ years experience and they act like you are just off the boat to Transcription Land.    Counting the days until I can retire.  Love the websites that say you can make $60 K a year too - now that is really rude! ...

RUDE RECEPTIONIST
Jul 30, 2010

I have been seeing my PA every three months right after my cardiologist for congestive heart failure.  He prescribes my meds and communicates with my cardiologist during my checkup.  He's a pretty nice guy who really cares about his patients, and his nurses are awesome.  However, his receptionist is rude and unprofessiional. She answers the phone with an attitude, like she hates being there, and seems like she takes it out on the patients. She's only in her early 20 ...

Rude Employers
Jan 19, 2011

Are the rest of you as disgusted as I am with not hearing back after sending an application?  Are all these ads for work just made up to look like there are jobs when in reality the ads are fakes?  I hear from so many other MTs/editors that they apply for jobs but never hear back, even after receiving permisson to do testing.  Maybe we should all stop applying and let them sit and spin! ...

DTSOK, SO RUDE
Mar 20, 2012

I responded to DTSOK's job posting on another board 2 weeks ago.  Within a couple hours, I received an email from their recruiter, indicating that I should take the test that day, as they were planning to talk to people that week.  I did this.  A day later, I received an email from the transcription manager, indicating that I had passed the test, and asking if I was still interested, and asking me to respond to her with the best time for her to call me.  I did this.  ...

May 22, 2012

I don't even really work "for" these people and I get emails that are not only unprofessional but extremely rude.  So after working for 12 years with this company we get a new QA and she thinks she can blast me because I've been in the hospital and didn't work for a week? Yes, I'm very mad. ...

Dealing With A Rude TSM
Oct 18, 2013

I've had it with our rude TSM so I just sent an e-mail to HR about them.  Ten weeks ago I put in a request for PTO to attend a family wedding this weekend and sent them an e-mail.  They never got back to me.  I've sent several reminders.  We finally just presumed it was OK and booked the hotel.  Now the TM responds - and we're leaving this afternoon - that I need to give more notice on these things in the future but will approve it anyway.  Say w ...

Netmed (sm)
Aug 04, 2011

I had posted some time ago about getting emails from Netmed about a post I replied to some months ago on my experience at Netmed.  This person AGAIN is emailing me saying, "are you just an angry person," blah blah blah!  Has anyone else recieved these obnoxious emails?  I have heard from one other gal who has, but wondered about anyone else.  I will reiterate and stand by what I had to say at that time, which is - My experience was not great with them.  The account had ...

WebChartMD And NetMed - Please Help (SM)
May 20, 2010

I would like to hear your experiences with NetMed's WebChartMD platform.  (I've searched the archives to no avail about WebChartMD.) What specifically do you like or dislike about it? Is it fiddly with demographics that you have to bounce around to fill? Are line counts accurate? The WebChartMD website is not very informative unless you want to provide your email address for a demo.  Doesn't even have screen shots. Thank you in advance for taking the time to inform ...

NetMed - Bad Feeling
Jun 21, 2012

Just quit this company. Initially had to fax my personal information numerous times because they lost it repeatedly, etc. Only allowed to type 10 reports per day on QA, unable to get off QA, QA editors never able to agree on policies and procedures. Also required to research dozens/hundreds of previous reports (no search engine available) to find information (QA stated they will not fill in blanks), which is frequently incorrect; not even making minimum wage at first. Even their docs are bit ...

How Do You Deal With A Very Rude Team Lead? I Work For Transcend And
Oct 08, 2011

have never been treated so badly at any company.  My team lead sends out the nastiest e-mails I have ever received in my life.  When I talked to my ROM (who is no longer there), she said I just needed to realize that this person had a very strong military background and that is "just how she is".  I have been around a lot of military and most of them were taught to be tactful and at least half way nice.  You never know what is going to set this one off or how she will react t ...
