Group Medical Insurance for Transcriptionists?

Is there a group that gives health insurance to MT's on a group rate? Frustrating to be self-employed and not get a "group rate" . Ideas please? ...

I am trying to get a handle on how many of you would be interested in group insurance coverage. So many of the companies we work for dangle "benefits" in front of our noses only to find that joining them costs almost as much as buying it ourselves. Has anyone ever heard of Johnson Medical Group. They guarantee you have a job once you take tests and are up to par on their expectations. You have to pay $295.00 for their materials and training. It's an IC job, so I would have to invest in hardware for my computer too because the companies I worked for before furnished equipment. I just saw an online ad for Johnson Medical Group. The ad says you can make up to 4K a month and says the more you work, the more you earn (well, obviously, but apparently it's up to you how much you work). I came across an ad recently catering to unemployed new registered nurses who need jobs badly. I've recently graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree and I received my Certificate in Medical Transcription. I've taken several tests for companies over the Internet but they all say the same thing in response to me, "gain more experience, and then come back to us."
