landmark questions for anybody else who works there! - tired of wondering in the dark

Does anybody here work for Landmark?

What is your line rate/range if I may ask?

Did anybody have a sudden pay cut recently?

Do they have VR or not? Their website says they do.

Do they offer new accounts to current employees before they hire new ones?

I've worked for them until 2 years, but had already given my notice because of some other job opportunities that have come my way.

The line rate varies by account.

My check this past Wednesday was shorter than what I had calculated it to be, but the 2 emails that I have sent so far have gone unanswered.

They do have VR, but again that depends on the varying accounts. My account was/is straight typing.

I don't know the answer to your last question.

you have no idea if you were ever offered to work on (informed or told about) any other account with work besides the one you began on when hired during the entire time you worked there? I'm not being argumentative, I'm just trying to understand how you wouldn't know if you were ever offered work.

Also, do you know anybody who did VR there? How do you know they have it?

So, the line rate doesn't go by experience, but by account? Do you know anybody on another count that made any less or more than you? In other words, how do you know the line rates vary by account?

Did you stay at your rate the whole time from hire to notice without a change on the same account?

The account I was on kept me plenty busy so working on another account was never an issue or request of mine. That's why I don't know the answer to that question.

I know they have VR because they've advertised for it.

I do know someone who started on another account at a lower line rate.

I stayed at the same rate the entire time I worked there.

I met with the owner (had to meet at a restaurant since they have no office) and they run everything out of his house very mom-and-pop.

They positively do have VR.

If you want more than 1 account, they will give it to you.

I don't know how mom and pop they are. Except for the huge companies, most people work out of their home. The last 3 companies I have worked for the owners worked from home, one from their basement with 2 big dobermans hanging around (no, that wasn't intimidating at all...LOL). It turned out to be a great job.

Yes I have received a raise since I have been there.

months ago, and others had their line rate dropped, all via email, no reason given-see archives. They do have VR on some accounts, TR others, but going in VR direction. Everything goes through 1 person who is running the show, so better make friends with her or you won't get any work. No training at all, just dive right in and hope for the best. Mom and pop all the way, so if you are looking for job security, it is questionable. I currently work there and thought a few months that the end was near, but still working, sooooo, use your own judgment-how bad do you need a paycheck?

When they count lines, do the VR lines count the same as the transcribed lines? Also ... are there ever chances to make a bonus or an incentive or maybe OT on certain accounts? My company of 11 years was bought out by Nuance. Not thrilled about this after all the negative comments on here. Starting in December we are going to their Web Clock for keeping time. Can anyone tell me how it works? Do we enter the hours worked at the end of the day or does it automatically do it for us?
