Everyone please be aware that TTD is not someone you want to work for.  Be aware that you wait 6 weeks for the first check only to find it is short.  They are constantly hiring and advertising jobs.  They just laid off 16 people last week and now they have new job postings.  BE AWARE THAT THEY INTEND TO NOT PAY YOU ON TIME AND PAY WILL BE INCORRECT.  Amy and Dawn have developed a greedy practice.  I have a long list of previous MTs that have not been paid and the list is growing.  I can promise the 16 that were just laid off will not see a dime either.  Dawn and Amy like to shift the blame to the other companies that they are hired by.  TTD is so pitful they cannot get their own accounts.  I have a feeling that Chase Transcription got wind of their business practices and dropped them.   I would hope that they will get banned from advertising their "jobs"

As much as I feeling calling someone out like this, by name, is probably not politically correct.. I have to agree with the poster. I worked with them for over 2 years and resigned. Although, I never had an issue with receiving my pay, it was always short and if questioned, it's take it or go. I worked both QA and MT on the accounts. And, yes, these accounts are not their accounts, but they parasite off other companies. Why another company would hire these people (even tho I worked there also), always amazed me. The quality was.. well.. let's be honest, there was no quality. It was all about getting lines in; lines to line 2 purses. They hire newbies right out of the schools and put them in positions of QA - "sink or swim" was the moto. There was no training, there are no random audits, there are no schedules, and the pay was very low. One asks why I stayed as long as I did. Who knows.. they offered flexibility, which at the time I needed and I did come in at a higher rate of pay; no way would I work for the "chump change" advertised. I believe, however, as long as there are people out there that do work "for" companies such as this, they will always be around. Glad to see that Chase opened their eyes on the TTD issue, maybe someday SGS will also and pull out. Not sure how many other host companies are out there, but hopefully they will be a bit more quality conscious and stay away. Currently, I am working with 2 other companies that are just prime - pay, quality-wise, their business ethics, amount of work, and the managerial components are extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and I just can't say enough about them. So basically, I left and didn't look back; however, reading this post and some of the others brought back memories and with it GERD, IBS and anxiety disorder.

We have all experienced the degrading of the profession. Very few services now are of prime pay, quality treatment and professionalism along with work appreciation. I would really like to know the names of any service out there that holds true to these attributes. Chase sounds like the top-notch bank and in that word...I'd stay away! Chase Bank itself will sell you out...oh, and take your house also. I hope Chase Transcription is not one of the same as then we are all in trouble, maybe even Nuance/Dictaphone and MModal---in my opinion.

I can vouch for Chase Transcriptions. A company who treats its employees very, very well, does not send harassing messages, definitely DOES NOT cheat you from your pay or lines. Always on time with pay or before. My only complaints are IMHO some of their dictators are the worst ESL I have heard
and a few months back they made a "temporary" change to my schedule which they will now not reverse ( I signed on for Sunday through Thursday and now have to work Monday through Friday). They have been extremely inflexible with my schedule. I would give them probably and 8 out of 10.

I recently started working for TTD. I got my first check. It was sent on time and correct. I had been following the posts here at MT Stars and was extremely stressed about what I was reading. I still am, but I just wanted to say I got paid on time and it was correct x1. I cannot believe I am the only MT in this circumstance.

I have a growing list of people that are owed money by this company. I have a few people that some of their checks were correct but then the next check is short well over $100 and then some that have been "laid off" and are still waiting on the last three checks owed to them. It has become evident that they are so far behind in paying people that when they get fed up with this nonsense and quit or Amy or Dawn goes in and disables the IDs they have no intention of paying you the rest you are own. I am currently owed $2845.85 for my last three checks and I have had 5 people contact me saying they owe them that much and have received no communication and received none of the last three checks owed to them. I am hoping enough people will take notice and stop continuing to line the pockets of these two women.

say the same thing. Just because you haven't been shorted on your pay and have received a check doesn't mean others haven't. I'm owed 3 paychecks now and just checked my mailbox and nope no check.

JUST AN FYI: My first couple months of checks were correct also (at least I think so) but I have resigned with them very recently as my last couple checks were noted to be short, and pretty significantly so. No answer from Amy, and Dawn is no longer employed there as of last week. I AM SO DONE with the barrage of constant emails, get your butt to work type of thing and asking ICs to "Work your schedule" which cannot be asked of ICs. There was never a good email response from either one of them and especially now that people are short money she isn't responding! Terrible, Terrible way to run a business. No wonder their turnover is so high and they always have ads!!!! I am so done with TTD and will never recommend them to anyone. PERIOD.

Ok, first of all, I have been reading the "bashing" of TTD since last week and I cannot hold it in anymore and must reply to this. I have been with TTD for over 2 years. I have never had my pay late, have NEVER not been paid and if there are any problems with pay roll, the owner rectifies it immediately. I don't understand why this person who is posting on here is filling this board with lies, because that is what it is...ALL LIES! I sure wouldn't be with TTD this long if they are guilty of the things that are being said.

If this is the MT I think it is, her work was sloppy, deplorable and she got what she deserved. This is all sour grapes for calling an Ace an Ace!

TTD is a great company to work for with plenty of work and the people are great and very fair.

The previous posting about 16 girls losing their jobs is also false. They were offered an another account and refused it, so that was their choice and not TTD.

STOP the bashing, I highly recommend working for this company as we put out only quality work!

I worked there, too. There is not plenty of work! This company is OVERFLOW only and it is definitely hit and miss. They DO NOT train you. You get ZERO feedback. They throw you into the platform and let you figure it out yourself. They limit you to 10 measly jobs until you come off of QA - which is ridiculous! The work is not always quality. I have read many emails to the contrary put out by both Dawn and Amy. And yes, they do pay late and it has been short!

Anyone out there thinking about working for this company, do not drink the above-posters kool-aid. I haven't worked there in over 2 years, but I still get every e-mail sent out to everyone LOL!

and very stupidly the owner included cc's instead of bcc's of everyone who was let go, so we all know that there were 16 people dropped this go round and exactly who they were. This is just like in March when 31 people were dropped and the same thing happened with pay being late, short or just not showing up.

So, to the OP of this thread, consider yourself VERY lucky that you just happen to be one who hasn't gotten the axe yet, because if and when you do is when you'll be wondering what happened and if you're owed money you'll be asking where your check is. Put yourself in our shoes, how would YOU feel if you were in the same rocking boat as the rest of us?

Also, please don't sit there and tell us who are out of a job and owed money that we are merely "bashing" TTD. Rather, consider that we who are now job hunting and waiting for paychecks to arrive are extremely frustrated and posting as warnings to MTs/QAs here so they won't end up in the same situation.

I was QA when the IDs were disabled. This company does not produce quality work. They provide no training, throw you to an account and want MTs to produce 1000s of lines a day all just to pad Amy and Dawn's purse. I hardly think 46+ people produced sloppy work. As the previous poster said Amy cc'd everyone on the email that claimed Chase had disabled the IDs and there was not going to be work there. I had QA'd work on Editscript as well and SGS had all but taken most of that work away because of the quality of work. Dawn would freely turn MTs off of QA because they wanted more lines when QA constantly voiced concerns about the quality of work that the MTs were producing.

I have an email from a previous company that TTD fed off of and ultimately found out their practices and pulled the accounts from TTD. I hope that Chase will take notice as well. I was contacted from another form QA that said they did the same thing last September and she is still owed 3 pay checks.

TTD is nothing but a bottom feeder and if MTs continue to provide the free work for Amy and Dawn they will continue.

I had to give up my $39. a month wireless ISP to comply with client requirements. Had to sign a 2 year contract with the company "C.L." whose ads claim it's only $19. a month. The speed connection for that price is equivalent to dial up. By the time you really have the DSL you need you are up to $63. a month. I also had to get a landline which I did not need. So my company is moving everyone from IC to employee on Jan 1. Pros: PTO days, insurance for FT, and they deal with taxes. Cons: I don't need their insurance. I want the "employer paid" portion in my check, which we won't get. Expected daily production went up. Level to reach incentive pay went up and not calculated daily. CPL rate went down 15%! There is very little quality work available.  The pay is low and the Dictaphone platform is not good.  You will get the bottom of the barrel MT work.  Even that will run out because Nuance overstaffs accounts.  I am out of work now and yet I got an e-mail offering a bonus for referrals of MTs to Nuance.
