Job offer from Archivus...any information is - appreciated

I have been offered a job at Archivus.  Any current information on them?  TIA

let me clarify this is on an acute care account - and on the Dictaphone

ExText platform. Have they been running out of work and how much is VR and how much is typing? They are telling me 70% VR and the other 30% is typing. TIA!

because they were always running out of work and I would go days without any work. I heard from a friend they are still having that problem. Also, their communication sucks. Good luck getting a response if you have even an urgent question or problem. Once I logged in and no jobs were available and when I emailed them I never did receive a response. They do not do IM so you have to rely on email, which they may answer when they get around to it, if even at all. It was my worst nightmare.

I worked for them for quite some time. After their merger, everything chnaged, sm - no for the good IMO

The work went down to nothing and the supervisor changed. The new supervisor is very busy and getting timely responses from here is not likey. I enjoyed working there for the time that I was there, but after having the sense that this company could care less about me as a transcriptionist and not having work on a regular basis, I moved on. Good luck.

I wouldn't waste my time with this company if I was you. The account you speak of will go dry very often as they hire a ton of people to get caught up when they fall behind and then let everyone fight for scraps. The poster above is also correct, when their merger happened the company went downhill, supervisors became very very slow at responding to questions and just didn't seem to care about the MTs. Oh and if you need tech support with the software on this account, good luck with getting anyone there that knows what they are doing, usually you are just told to reload your PC! If you give them a chance make sure you have a backup.

Does this company hire and then after a quarterly review have QA pick your work apart and then tell you they can either terminate your contract or cut your pay.  Understand this has happened to more than one person.  Has anyone experienced this.  They told me I was doing awesome work, not they picked the work after and then tell me that in 2 weeks my contract will either be terminated or will have a reduced line rate.  This makes no sense.  I have 18 years experience.&nb ...

I have 2 job offers from 2 different companies, but both of these companies are fairly large and have multiple posts with complaints that there is just not enough work for everyone. Would it be possible to take both offers, on the chance that if one doesn't have work the other will? Wow.  I was just offered a job by MQ.  I politely asked if the 'rumors' were true about being docked for sending reports to QA.  I was informed that if you are supposed to do 6,000 lines a week and 300 lines total come to QA, then yes you would be docked 3 cents per line.  If you are part-time with 4,000 line a week and 200 lines total came to QA, then you would be docked.  I politely said that I would have to decline.  BUT, if you feel that even QA canno ...
