Pay on time, work types, supervisors, etc? Thanks so much, I need a job.

I worked for her for a short time. Pay is 6 cpl and platform is Bayscribe. MTs are left in the dark a lot, but MY impression was that I just helped out one person maybe, not that it was a company with several employees, but I'm not completely sure this was the case.

The work that I got was all three or four line reports for procedures, so no real way of making money there. I don't believe I EVER had a report more than 10 lines. I think the person in charge typed what she wanted and gave me the rest. I am NOT certain on that, but I think that may have been the case.

As far as paychecks, NO they were not on time, but I ALWAYS did get paid. The pay is supposed to be weekly, but there is no rhyme or reason how you receive your check. It is a mailed check, no DD available and it is a personal check, so make sure you have a good bank that is willing to cash that.

Time was supposed to go in on Saturday and check mailed Monday, but sometimes I wouldn't receive a check for three weeks and then sometimes I would receive one check after that three weeks or sometimes two combined checks and sometimes two different checks. I asked her how the pay worked, since it was supposed to be weekly and she said she didn't always have time to do payroll weekly, but she would try. I did always get paid though, it's just hard to plan to pay bills when you never know when your check will come.

Their website is a one-pager with not a whole lot of information but looks legit enough. Also, is Bayscribe easy to learn and utilize? Will it interfere with any player I currently use for voice files? I have never used any kind of platform - always just digital voice files and Word. Okay...I am new to the boards and have only worked with Hands On for 6 months but this is one of the better jobs I've ever had. I have always been paid on time, have steady work, receive constructive feedback which has helped to improve my skills. To date, the management team has been very helpful and friendly. I'm wondering if anyone has some updated information on ANP transcription? I've searched and found some older info regarding late payment, low rate. I've passed their tests and have transcribed focus groups before, and right in their contract it states how often they pay and the rate, so I'm clear on that.
