I secretly predictated that Imedx/TT would end up losing a major, major account. Now, it is coming true, unfortunately.

Repeatedly out of TAT, scrambling to get warm bodies for MONTHS!, offering pathetic bonus for MONTHS! to get people helping on a sinking ship, telling us to dump our PTOs before year end, email completely broken at Imedx, numerous MTs jumping ship because of impending iceberg in front of Imedx ship, etc etc.

I have seen this so many times, it is a bad joke. One account in particular has been handled so badly, that it is nearly criminal how it was un-managed. It's gotten to the point that management at Imedx knows exactly what they are doing and watching a major account go to a competitors hands. Or is it a competitor? You could make an argument that it has been so badly handled for weeks/months, that maybe there is something in the background we do not know about.

Certainly going full-on IC instead of employee on new hires is a clear signal that they don't want to get stuck with unemployment, workers comp, etc., they want to shift it all to the employee who is classified as an IC.

Folks, please give me a Like (thumbs up) if you think that Imedx and TT have absolutely mismanaged their accounts, especially one huge one about to go to the dogs.

I am sad, I cannot do anything to help from going out of TAT.....it is just too much!

I am just so, so sad. I have worked doing MT for 40 years and am in my 60s. I loved working for TT. Everyone there was so supportive. Now my gut feeling is that my life is about to go through a major change..not a good one at that.

The account managers can only do what they can do with the amount of people they have to work with - while I have personally not taken advantage of the bonuses being offered I don't call them "pathetic" but a good incentive for those that have the time and inclination to take advantage of it. If my own account hadn't kept me busy I would have been getting as much bonus money as I could :) It is definitely due to Imedx plan and/or choice to lose this account (if indeed it has been lost) as an excuse to get rid of lots of MTs, but the managers will also go - we are all in the same boat here - be a little sensitive!! Everyone still trying to hang in is constantly stressing over whether they will have a job on any given day as it is. And for the record, I am a fellow MT - NOT management!!!

What big account is going away? Just being busy some days, not busy (near dead) on other days doesn't mean the whole thing is "gone". Nothing has been announced to my knowledge of an acct being closed recently. So, curiosity begs the question.... which one is gone?

but the account they are referring to starts with an M and they do onc. AGAIN - I have heard nothing AT ALL indicating this account has been lost.

I vote for trying to work harder and keeping the account satisfied. As far as I can tell, IMEDX/TT is still fulfilling all promises made to me, i.e. pay and paying on time. There are a lot of people depending on us.

I work on "M", but there's been nothing said to me about it being gone anytime soon or ever. We just gained more work recently. Like I told someone on another thread of same subject, I'm not going to worry about it anymore. If things change soon, then I'll deal with it.

by someone who has some sort of personal vendetta with IMX. So far I have nothing to complain about with them, and they may be slightly better than MM where I was before as far as endless nit picking QA and daily happy horse-s--- emails. I am on a good account with 2 backups and only rarely have been out of work. They only thing I don't like about them is they pay twice a month instead of every 2 weeks.

But by all means, if this person is an "insider" please give account initials and how you would know we are all going to be IC soon if they went to all the trouble of offering maybe not the greatest benefits, but benefits none the less. I was hired by them when TT was in the process of being assimilated.

Some years ago, TT notified in advance that an account was being lost, going overseas. They didn't hide it or call it something it wasn't. If we're going to lose another, then I'm expecting they'd notify again. With imedx involved, I don't know what will happen. Guess we'll find out eventually.

If  you woke up this morning with several hundred jobs out of TAT on a major account for IMEDX, you should not be surprised. Imedx made their bed when they offered 12 hour TAT versus the 24 hour TAT that was prior, just to get an account. A 10 day notice has been given on a longstanding hospital account. Employees on this account will be moved to other accounts (September 30, 2013). No one on this board seems to give specifics when they get canned from IMEDX. So my question is this: Can each person who got laid off/fired let us know more details. What we were told is that it was a "partnership".  They were just described to us as a new HR company taking over our HR Department.  I hadn't heard anything about people getting layed off, but it doesn't surprise me.  We just elected our health benefits with United Health Care and now they want us to they want to choose health plans all over again with Aetna!! ...

So, what's going on with IMEDX/TT?  Famine...now feast?  For the last few days we are swamped, when for the last few weeks we were running out of work hours early?  Does anyone know what is really going on with this accounts (MDAnd)?  Asking for bonus now, when we were afraid of losing our jobs any day?  I am seeing dictators I have not seen in a year or more, if ever...I still think we are going to lose the account entirely sooner or later...would just like to know one way or the oth ...
