Wow, Imedx - so CRAZY!!

Even after telling them to ______ the other day, I'm still able to log on and do reports (what appears to be some sort of leftover garbage from a mumbling moron), a former TT account. Wonder if I'll get paid the few bucks they will end up owing me? Why do I have the feeling this place will cease to exist before long?

if you really told them to _____ (I'm assuming you quit) and yet you still sign on and do their work. You know what they say, there's one born every minute.

I don't think the OP is a glutton for punishment. To me she sounds dismayed and bewildered by her experience with Imedx, and she just keeps checking out of curiosity in trying to process the crazy experience of Imedx and all the many things that make no sense at all.

I totally get where she is coming from. Things are easier to deal with in life if they make sense somehow, good or bad.

at all. Their programs are still on my computer and I have been logging in daily to check for work (I am compulsive that way, what with needing to work and all). I am also curious to see if I still have access, as I did not officially resign, get fired or laid off, but just told off the person who called me the other day to ask why I was not working. I still have full access to my email, personal information, as well as the one account I have left with work, even if it is just a couple of jobs every now and then. If I continue to have access, I may just use this to pick up an extra buck here and there whenever I feel like it, that is provided they keep paying me. If I were really devious, I might just type craziness and send it on to the facility and see what happens, really test the theory that no one reads this stuff anyway, but I can't bring myself to do that, especially when it involves a sick person who I don't even know.

I am perfectly aware that I should probably just let this go and chalk it up to yet another rotten MT experience (probably the worst since MQ was stealing from me years ago), but right now I choose to share this what I feel is a bizarre situation with my fellow MTs, especially those who might still be with Imedx so they will have some idea of what they are dealing with. If I had paid attention to some of the folks who were posting the worst about this place a few months ago, I might have avoided this extended unpaid "vacation" that I am currently on.

Thanks for giving a bit of info on your situation. I have been complaining today of the one liners from folks in your situation that do not describe much, thus hard for us to follow, and predict our future. IMEDX truly is bizarre, but again, I have worked for Indian run companies before and even as an IC had a written and verbal contract challenged by the home office, and I had to do a lot to get them to pay me, then promptly quit. So, that is very mean, renegotiating contracts after doing special work, and in writing.

If you weren't fired or quit, that may be the reason you're still getting work. Even though the accounts have been lost, there is still work trickling in here and there, more on some accounts than others. So I don't think it's negligence on their part since you're still on the payroll obviously. It's just that you're logging on when work is available.

The only way you're going to be locked out of your accounts is if you quit or are fired/laid off. And then, it will be an immediate lockout, so be sure and copy any pertinent emails you think you might need for unemployment claims, etc.

Oh and ... you GO girl, lol.

Were you PT or full time, did they call or did they email, did you have options, or just firing. How many lines did you do per day. What we were told is that it was a "partnership". They were just described to us as a new HR company taking over our HR Department.
