I gave up and went back to MT. So much of what we do in the MT world doesn't translate into other fields. I've been an MT for so long (30 years) that I had a hard time making the switch. Probably if I had stuck it out I could've retrained my brain enough that I could start making money, but I was too slow and that 6 cpl dwindled fast. I make more money editing at today's sorrowful rates than I did for straight typing at 6 cpl.
