I was always told to type Alzheimer's as Alzheimer, which the second being what is correct in the medical dictionary (sorry it's late and can't remember the dictionary name, but the one they have us use). When I sent a report to QA with several blanks, there were several things "corrected" in the report, the above being one of them. Anyone know which is to be used? My hospital has just been bought by another hospital system that reportedly outsources to MQ; they give the docs an MQ number to call if they have problems with dictation, etc. We are now official employees of the new hospital but have not idea whether our jobs are to be outsourced immediately, end of year, never, or whether MQ would hire us because we know the account so well after 10-15 years.
