I can't post a public reply on that thread. The only option is "reply by email." Is it just me or is that normal for the company board? I don't want to send an email. What is up?

I have never worked for Inscribe, but I have worked on the Emdat system for 4 years with another company. Emdat can be confusing, but they have stepped learning modules you can do on your own as often as you want that are free. Those help tremendously when you are getting started. In fact, you can do them before you start working on the platform. When you finish module one, you go to the next, and so on. Maybe you knew about that option or maybe you didn't, but I wanted to point it out in defense of the platform. Having worked on many, many platforms, I have found Emdat to be one of the most keyboard friendly platforms, meaning there are key shortcuts for just about everything, which keeps hands on the keyboard and off the mouse, making it very productive for the MT.
As to the issue of someone making you re-do reports over and over again, was this for valid reasons such as poor work quality? Or maybe it was for style differences? Were you leaving a lot of blanks? Like I said, I don't work for Inscribe, but it always sends up a red flag for to see blanket statements of "abusive" employers without details about what happened.
I have read in places here on this board about the owner being difficult to work for, but it really helps someone who may want to consider employment there to know the details. Maybe you would like to expound on your experience with that company.

[ In Reply To ..]Yes, I did go through the modules that she had set forth, and no I do not put out poor quality work. I have been a transcriptionist for 38 years and have done many platforms. Emdat to me was one of the most confusing. She did not tell me until I had to correct and re-correct the formats over and over again. It was not the transcription per se, it was the formats. I didn't say she was abusive, I said she did not pay me for the work I had completed.

Maybe they can help you get paid. It does not matter how little they owe you. It's the principle of the thing. You worked, you should get paid.

Just venting……..I am so bummed. I was doing so well a couple of years ago. I was working as a Radiology Transcriptionist for six years for a very, very large radiology facility, two days in the office and the rest of the week from home in the evenings. Then they went to VR, but kept me on because the some of the docs were not complying with VR so those reports had to be typed and in addition I was doing editing.
