I have a dictator who is stating the following:
Patient may not do well with a s/l On tube or GJ tube. Could this On tube be reference to a NG tube?
Any help is much appreciated. ...
How ASR got that out of "fenestration" is beyond me. That's the kind of crap I slogged through over the weekend.
And also my personal favorite, the guy who starts every sentence over 5 times. "She said that she said that the patient reported she reported The patient reported that last Wednesday she felt last week she she noted The patient reported "= through the whole report, all in glorious ASR ...
My dictator is an ESL who is usually very clear, but I can't get this one.
I think she is saying "tor-day day French adenocarinoma of the lung.
Thanks for any help.

fem-pop bypass: doc saying 24 french "send" very clearly. I tried to make myself hear "stent," but that's not it. books are still in storage, cannot verify "send." Anyone? TIA ...
Okay, we've got this new French doctor at one of my hosptials. When I transcribe his dictation, in my head, I'm transcribing dictation form Gelles Marini from Brothers and Sisters and Dancing with the Stars. He's hard to understand, but I'm in love with him. LOL. It's a nice break from the other ESL doctors from the Middle East. I respect that they are learning English and I am sympathetic, but they cost me so much money because with some of them, I earn about $4 an ...
It sounds like he is saying channel drain during a GI surgery. Has anyone ever heard ofa channel drain or do you know of a good website that lists various surgical drains and their names? I'd be very grateful for any info.
Thanks so much! ...
The word in question is "female". I've never heard of that but sounds like what he is saying. Is that correct? I cannot find anything on it. The sentence is:
I went ahead and passed a 20-French female sound through his reconstructed meatus and he maintains a good caliber meatus and feels that he urinates without difficulties. ...
An 8-French "ISP" Powerport was tunneled from the incision site to the cannulation site with distal tip placed in the right atrial - SVC junction under fluoroscopy.
Thanks - ISP brings up providers and powerport brings up PowerPoint (arrrgh).

Doc slurring words, baby grunting and making a fuss, doc switching breasts, etc, etc, sounded like breast sex with baby for 10 minutes of dictation. Lovely, absolutely lovely, no wonder no one else wanted to do it. How many years of education do these docs have under their belts??!!?? ...
Remember when – you were proud to be an MT – proud of the work you did and the physicians said thank you when you did a good job? How about the bumper sticker years ago from AHDI (AAMT) that they handed out at one of the conferences that read – MDs need MTs. After 35 years in this profession, I call it quits. All of us really just need a "thank you" from time to time to feel appreciated.
I have worked at ho ...
Remember when we used to get that newsletter in the mail? I found some today as I was packing my stuff. Remember when they used to pat us on the back now and then? (usually right before they made a change that was a major hassle, though--and NEVER a pay increase, absolutely unheard of)
Now they just hang us out to dry and we have to fend for ourselves. Wonder if they even notice we are dropping like flies.
We never hear anything from management unless it's that they are i ...
Remember back when you worked for a client of say 20-40 doctors? When when you could kick your feet up and type with your eyes closed, you knew what the doctor was going to say before he said it. Remember when you could type what he meant to say and not what he actually said. Remember them appreciating that? Remember no BOS or auditing scores? Remember always having an abdundance of work and feeling very comfortable about it because you made great pay? Remembe ...
catch errors, highlight them, and send them to you with a score? No comments, no ridicule, no 'teaching, preching, and/or belittling.'
I mean, QA used to just point out the errors once a quarterly run, and be there as a backup on blanks or questions because supposedly they are just that good at it. When were they told to scold? Why would they think a humiliation approach works? ...
You know the weird thing is that even after just 3 years, I cannot even remember the name of the last 2 companies I worked for - I was an independent contractor for the first 15 years and had my own accounts. That's pretty sad when you can't even remember a past employer (or maybe it isn't because you've blocked them from your memory because of the poor pay and constant outsourcing and waiting for them to find you more work). Now that I do remember. If anyone knows who I w ...
