I have a dictator who is stating the following:
Patient may not do well with a s/l On tube or GJ tube. Could this On tube be reference to a NG tube?
Any help is much appreciated.
GJ would be "gastrojejunal," where it would be inserted....sm - Cyndiee
[ In Reply To ..]otherwise I can only reference orogastric or oropharyngeal tubes, sorry I am not of more help, could the doctor be stuttering the words "on tube feedings?" Hope someone else can help you more!

[ In Reply To ..]I ended up flagging it. I think he was meaning NG tube and he did mention the patient had a good gag reflex but it just didn't sound like NG but maybe he was saying what s/l Ong. I don't know. I will find out from my TL hopefully tomorrow. Thanks for your help though!
