I am considering this company, VR. Any opinions?

I only lasted four months with them... Their platform, Triton, is not user-friendly. Not one promise from the recruiter came to be. No work, begged for more accounts and got puny ones that didn't have work either. I didn't have a good experience but I hear good things on here about them. Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones.

I heard they don't pay for spaces, so make sure you ask about that up front. - nm

They don't pay for spaces, VBC, but as far as I can tell, and I am new to MT Stars, they pay more per line. They also say most companies are "moving in that direction".

But if anyone has an opinion on this, I would like to hear it.

Not that much more per line. They offered me 8 cpl with 15 years of - experience. sm

That is a pretty significant cut from what I am making with my current company, but I've been with my current one for many years. Some former co-worker raved about Amphion, so I tested with them and was offered a position on their Triton platform, but 8 cpl is crap and I wouldn't take it.

They didn't tell me that until AFTER I started with them. They also said 'maybe a third' would be voice rec and it was 100%!

IC, some people I know (been in transcription for 20 years or more) seem to think they are phasing out the oldies and bringing in the newbies. It's a shame that someone with 20+ years is resigned to taking a job for 1-2 cents less even with an employer they have been with for a while for straight transcription because these companies just don't want to pay the money it takes for experience.

Anyone ever get fired from Amphion for not meeting line requirements? I work for them FT or more as needed and have yet to make the 12,000 line requirement. I've narrowed my job search down to two companies with Amphion being one of them. I would appreciate any feedback on these companies. I have recently applied and tested with both.
