Considering applying for work with Amphion. I understand they do not pay for spaces. Do they pay for headers or do anything to bring up the line rate? If not, I won't bother. Thanks.

When I worked for them, my lead gave me a fantastic list of short cuts - stuff I never thought of. Really sped up the process.

The way they pay is HORRENDOUS. The way it averages out without spaces, HEADINGS and footers as you may have to TYPE the HEADINGS in the report but they do NOT pay for them - so it averages out to about 7 lines a minute whereby normally it is between 10-12 lines per minute. They are nice enough but on their platform you cant make any money.

Nice people... however, promised large acute care account, which continually ran out of work within first 30 days... trained on a new account (5 different in 6 months) and had all 5 load in player at the same time... not just when primary ran out. Triton, their platform, quite clunky in my opinion.

VBC only. No headers, demos, etc. Triton not user friendly. - 8/4 CPL depending on platform

Hardly w/o work now but have 4 accounts and one is on OT. Hate it. So done with MT. Need a different job. :-(

Most information posted is not true. The pay is more, and Amphion has platforms that do pay for spaces. The work is plentiful and Triton is an awesome platform. Feel free to email me!

Yep. VBC only. Nothing else is paid. Waste of lines - when you use Normals.

And pay is based on a tier system, at least on Triton, which I am on. QA is monthly and review is every 6 months. They add up all 6 QAs, divide the total by 6, to get your average QA and that % is what tier you are paid on. I have gone down from a tier 4 to a 3 and now I'm at a 2. The lowest is 1 but even a difference of .01 CPL makes a difference in pay for the same lines produced. Your pay will not always be the same unless you're at 100% QA all the time.

The pay is not 8 cpl for typed lines. The range starts at .084 up to .087 for editscript. I believe the other platforms they have are a bit different in pay. The iChart platform does pay for spaces. Maybe you could ask to switch to another platform if you are struggling.

I would appreciate any feedback on these companies. I have recently applied and tested with both.
