My small local service was recently bought by another small service. Love my job, but there's no work available. I've been offered & am considering trying part-time with Amphion just to make ends meet. I haven't been with a bigger company for about 9 years - back in the days of HealthScribe - and have a huge knot in my stomach every time I think about it - lol....anyhoo, I'd love to hear from any current or ex-Amphion employees about the good, the bad, and the ugly :). Thanks so much!!

Work is plentiful, supervisors (mine anyway) are wonderful, communication is top notch. I've been with Amphion for going on 6 years and I've never considered leaving. New accounts are starting all the time. I'd say go for it!

I have been with Amphion since the first of the year, and I absolutely love it here. My supervisor is great, and they actually seem to CARE about their employees, and you are more than just a number, unlike a lot of the other nationals I have worked for.

I have been an MT for over 10 years, and worked for about as many companies (really didn't job hop that much, but always had two jobs), and this is by far the best one I have ever worked for. I really hope you decide to give Amphion a chance. I don't think you will be sorry.

I worked there briefly recently part-time. REALLY nice people and great communication. I also liked their QA staff, helpful but never condescending or rude, just professional.

The only reason I didn't stay longer was (are you ready for it?)...lack of work. It might have just been the account I was on or the hours I was scheduled for. To be fair, I must admit they did offer to give me a backup account but since I was only going to be working 3-4 hours per day, I really didn't want to be working multiple accounts. I already have a FT position and the part-time position was just for extra money; I was afraid the backup account might also dry up easily and then I'd have a third account, etc.

Good luck...if they have work, I think it would be a great place to work.

Anyone ever get fired from Amphion for not meeting line requirements? I work for them FT or more as needed and have yet to make the 12,000 line requirement. I would appreciate any feedback on these companies. I have recently applied and tested with both.
