mouse does not work in Extext- any fixes

OK so when I was re-hired I was assured that the VSR was being fixed and that our input was greatly appreciated. I trained the original one had it perfect only to see that it was ruined by I dont know who??? Hello, I have an HP Pavilion laptop. I'm having issues with my foot pedal and keyboard/mouse. I connect my foot pedal directly to USB port on laptop. I've recently started using ExText, and I like it, except for one thing - I find that it is very tedious to rewind or FF to a particular spot in the dictation. Is there any way to go right to the spot?
