Nuance is the worst company ever - India influence?

I HATE THIS COMPANY! Just needed to vent.

What is that supposed to mean? - US MT

No need to bash the offshore workforce. They are human beings just like you.

India influence - My opinion

People in India work cheaper. The cost of living is cheaper. Nuance undermines the American MT and we must take it or we will be replaced by a worker in India who is just happy to be employed.

The same thing will happen to Indian workers - when their work gets sent to China.

AGREE!!! While I love my job and the ability to work from home since OSI was merged with Nuance and I have this 3rd supervisor in less than a year I am under the chopping block and headed towards termination...deadline next week! I see the writing on the wall. I just hope I can get unemployment! All they demand is qualty scores, lph scores, etc. Right now I am so damn depressed and wondering why I am even trying so hard and working anymore this week, and oh I have to stay past shift today for a training call on a new account! WTH!!!!

Nuance is CRAZY - Fiesa, bad accounts, bad management

I have never seen so many changes and "exciting" news that is not good for MTs as I have in the past year. Nuance bought out my company too. It is like if they talk gibberish and corporate-speak we will accept it. I think they are trying to drive away American MTs and send the bulk of work to India where they work cheaper. I have had 3 supervisors in the past year. Then there are team leads and other important sounding titles that are like a game of musical chairs trying to keep track of who is who and who to notify for what.

If we wait long enough we'll get all the work back. - Here is how it will happen:

India is now getting all or most of American MT work that isn't yet on front-end SR.

Soon the greedy MTSO owners will decide that even Indian workers are too expensive, and by then all the Chinese MTs that AHDI is so joyously training will take over, and the work will get there, instead. Too bad, India.

By then, if current financial follies continue unchecked, as they are currently doing in the U.S., America will be owned outright by China. That will make all of us technically Chinese. Then, as our standard of living will have dropped to near-zero by then, American MTSOs will then "offshore" Chinese transcription work back to the U.S., where we will now be working cheaper than mainland China.

What goes around, comes around.

I've been gone for a month now. I feel like bricks have been taken off my chest. I don't feel the vomit rise in my throat when I checked Fiesa. I have taken so many tests lately with probably dozens of companies. I am wondering how you feel about Nuance tests and if it is harder or easier than the other companies. I personally thought Softscript test was kind of hard, compared with Nuance. I have been an MT for over 20 years and have worked at a few different companies. I am currently with DSG, and I just have to say, DSG seems to have the WORST dictators of any company that I have worked for. I work on 5 different accounts for them and it is all the same.
