Dear Nuance: Have you been reading ANY of these posts? Do you see the discontent? Do you feel the anger and worry you see on this page? Or are you too busy driving your nice cars and eating in fine restaurants to worry about the people who actually make the money for you?

I know I'm ridiculous for just wondering if you feel even the smallest twinge of guilt,but I like to think that people still have some humanity left. Do you think about the families that, at Christmas, didn't have anything under the tree because they couldn't afford it? Does it come into your mind that there are parents lying awake in bed wondering if they can make their mortgages now? Do you even give them a second thought? Just for a nanosecond?

Why have YOU not addressed your disgruntled employees? Why have you not eased their concerns and fears? Why have you put the TSM on the frontline to be the bad guy? Good business would be answering the questions, reassuring your employees. And yet, all we get are cut-and-paste answers that do nothing to ease our minds. If actions speak louder than words, I think your actions certainly are saying a lot!

But I keep thinking about how unhappy your employees are and how you have simply ignored it. Sometimes it's silence that speaks volumes. Your silence, Nuance, must mean that you simply do not care.

I totally agree with you 100% but really they just do not give one HOOT about anything but finding ways to put more money in their pockets, and the only way they can do that is to take from us.

Once you realize this and stop wondering if they care or not you can decide if you want to continue helping them get rich.

From further lining their greedy pockets like low-down criminals. Does anyone know how to contact http://www.bls.gov/ooh/healthcare/medical-transcriptionists.htm to tell them to take down the page or update it so as not to mislead new people to go into this ridiculously low-paying field that only makes the selfish unethically greedy richer? Need to contact all websites/webpages that have false advertising in terms of how MT field, particularly the pay, really is, and have to take down the lies to prevent new MTs from coming in and helping these selfish inhumane rich but full or cr** suits.

Have you ever written something that you knew someone wasn't going to see, but it allowed you to express your feelings in a well-thought out manner? Let me introduce you to my form of expression.

Of course I don't believe they give two cents about any of us. Of course I realize that even if someone who needs to see this does that they won't waste a second glance at it. I, unfortunately, do not have rose-colored glasses that makes this all look better. So whether my post is a waste of time depends entirely on what MY intention was.

I thought this was a forum where we actually support each other, as we are apparently in the same boat. When did it become a place where we can speak to each other with disrespect? Are we so frustrated and bitter that we have to tear down someone else? Make them feel stupid for having made a statement?

So will you please pardon me if I use words as a desire to express my opinions and emotions for no other reason than that?

How about asking your TSM, any and everyone in management, maybe HR, how reports are selected for post-audit? And get the answers in writing. Statistical program used to choose jobs? Are lists of jobs to be audited being sent to post-auditors? Because job selection for post audit has a tremendous impact on your pay. A manager in an orientation meeting, responding to a question, said the job selection is random, but you need to have that in writing, with operational details.

I am really really really (times pi) sickened but I figure if I write it here I can go to work and try to hang in there. I caannot get my Windows Media to work or whatever is used to hear QA reports in DQS. A black screen comes up but tells me the file is opened elsewhere. I always was able to listen to reports that had been Q/A'ed in the past. Has anyone had a problem like this? I dread having to call the tech support as I can hardly hear them or understand them. I am sitting here literally ready to punch the wall out of sheer frustration. So sick of listening to these foreign doctors. Are there any of the regions that are not saturated with them? Seems like mine is chock full. When I transcribed for another company, with a lot of the hospitals in the Southern end of the US, it was not near as bad. Today I had the misfortune to have 2 lo-o-o-ng reports by the same dictator - I suspect someone else had him before me and said No Thanks and passed him on to me. He wouldn't have been bad at all if he'd just speeded up about 5 times faster, and if his son had not been listening to cartoons about 3 feet away. Because I need my job I bite hard everyday to continue with MQ. Being an MME is horrible when you are paid 3 cpl to full listen ILP. I get paid more to ME my own ASR reports which take me sometimes just as long. Each time the situation is mentioned on how unfair it is to only get 3 cpl to full listen ILP reports we are always told that it really isn't that many reports....funny I did over 90 of them in a pay period and they aren't short reports ever always long... ...

Holy Crow....I knew there were changes made, but didn't think that everything changed. Nothing on the screen looks the same, starting with the log-in screen which is the only thing that looks simple to use. Only warrants periodic scans. If anyone comes back at me for that, they can listen to 64 minutes of nothing themselves. If the doctor dictated, too bad he did not follow protocol = put the dictation on hold when not dictating or hang up the phone! ...

Are we supposed to be listening to their innuendos of salary cuts, unattainable demands, losing our jobs to India to understand and get inspired to find another career? According to a poster below which has apparently already attended one of the payroll meetings (as the poster posted) for nuance they have decided to keep the incentive part of all of our pay going with an exception that now you have to have over the industry standard of 98% to get a production based incentive. In addition (if this poster is accurate) they have again cut the overall pay from 8 and 4 to 3 3/4 AND 7 1/2. This is nothing but a bunch of crapploa...an MT who is now getting ...

I thought they were 2 different services. Everyone is buying out everyone, so who knows. All the small companies have been merged I guess. I thought Nuance was out of New York and were the primary with VR. Maybe one has to keep up with the changes and be a member and pay the dues and go to the meetings with AAMT and be a CMT to keep up with the changes, even though you still get 4 cents. ...

Does anyone know why the ad says "No inquiries from overseas" when they obviously offshore the work? Anyone reading that would incorrectly assume they do not offshore. I was reading an article in the newspaper that a journalist was talking about a few days ago regarding the hospital outsourcing to the Web/Nuance, and the spokesperson for the hospital said in the article that the company only employs US MTs. ...

If Webmedx does away with or changes their recently advertised "PRODUCTION BASED INCENTIVE" bonus and adopts the Nuance quality based bonus then this change may be considered by quite a few WMX employees as yet another cut in pay.
