i would love to be rehired and just applied online. nuance not so bad compared to other companies.

Not so bad? Compared to who? And in what "position" do you consider it "not so bad?"

I'm just a lowly MLS, but I can assure you, I have NEVER worked for any other service that is this bad on so MANY levels.

Perhaps you should get the opinion of current QA working for Nuance, because I highly doubt that you're going to find ANY MLS that thinks this job is "not so bad." Please do us all a favor and make sure you ask an opinion of the U.S. QA personnel, because I think you'll probably run into a "language barrier" if you ask offshore QA personnel. They have problems auditing reports with correct English and grammar, so I imagine speaking with them would probably be just as bad, if not worse.

Since I'm just a lowly MLS working for right at minimum wage for my state (7.25/hr) and sometimes just a little more, I can't speak to the conditions of those that do QC review. However, I can tell you that my QC review is done onshore, and the ladies that do my QC review were once MLS, are fantastic about giving good feedback and good constructive suggestions and hints. They don't kick me in the teeth when I have a question or make a mistake, unlike some I have encountered in the past in "other" companies. So maybe, you might want to apply for a QC position, after you find out what your rate of pay will be and all the other little things that matter so much these days. I'd suggest speaking with someone who is in a QC position with Nuance first though, to get an honest upfront opinion and information on their experience with this company.

I would definitely steer clear of a position as an MLS with this company though...that is unless you like working 24/7 for next to nothing in order to get a decent paycheck, having some inept QA person from India auditing your work (one with so little grasp of the English language and without any kind of grammar skills that a U.S. high schooler could do a better job), and of course having to fight for work during your scheduled hours and/or MAKE UP those hours during a time when you originally had plans to spend quality time with your family.

I wish you luck! If we were allowed to request who does QA on our reports, I'd be the first to raise my hand and request a U.S.-based QA person!

For the record, I am not a suit, I'm an MLS who happens to like the company I work for. I like my accounts, I like my supervisor. I have never in my life seen such a bunch of snarky, sarcastic posts in my life. Maybe if you would spend less time complaining and more time working you'd make a decent living. Transcription has changed and that's a fact. So suck it up and adapt. I have. I don't care what your replies to this post are ... I'm through with MT Stars and all the whining therein. Have at it!

I'd like to hear from them. I, for one, have no idea how much they pay QA (post-audit editors). I sure would love to know. I notice they don't have to work weekends, as I never saw anything post-audit pop into FIESA on a weekend day. If this poster is for real, sure wish they'd come back and give us the scoop on how much they make. Can't be much, but you just never know.

According to a poster below which has apparently already attended one of the payroll meetings (as the poster posted) for nuance they have decided to keep the incentive part of all of our pay going with an exception that now you have to have over the industry standard of 98% to get a production based incentive. In addition (if this poster is accurate) they have again cut the overall pay from 8 and 4 to 3 3/4 AND 7 1/2. This is nothing but a bunch of crapploa...an MT who is now getting ...

Does anyone know why the ad says "No inquiries from overseas" when they obviously offshore the work? Anyone reading that would incorrectly assume they do not offshore. If Webmedx does away with or changes their recently advertised "PRODUCTION BASED INCENTIVE" bonus and adopts the Nuance quality based bonus then this change may be considered by quite a few WMX employees as yet another cut in pay. Is this true? Because if so that means they dont take into consideration years of experience, opportunity for increase or nothing. I received an incentive bonus this paycheck (for the first time ever). My QA score was 99.3%. So, I get an email today from my supervisor that my latest audit was only 98.2% and they are going to reaudit me in 2 weeks to see if my score is improving or if I need further disciplinary action.
