(New) FIESA requirements - How are you dealing?

Many have posted on here that they received a message stating that they must check FIESA on a daily/weekly basis and sign off on things. I hadn't received that notice till last week, and so now I'm wondering of those that received that, are you continuiing to ignore FIESA or are you really checking it?

Of course, we're at the end of the quarter so I'm getting several major errors now, as is usual. You can look at my FIESA for the last year and for 2-1/2 months I get almost straight 100's, but then that last week of every quarter, it's everything from minor to several major errors with a critcal thrown in for good measure as well. Seriously. I am not one for conspiracy theories, but I just can't help but notice this pattern!

Add to the indignity of this that I am on food stamps - FIESA or production, what will it be, idiots?

I did a complete 100% review on EVERY one of my reports this week, both speech and traditional. What do want to make a bet that lovely QA girl will claim to have found at least 1 CRITICAL something-or-other on these 2 accounts I have been typing probably longer than she has been alive. (A slight exaggeration, but you get my point).

P.S. Borrowed money from my daughter to be able to afford toilet paper this week.

I was given food stamps and they only gave them to me for 2 months! I lost my home of 21 years due to this company's low wages. Now they berate me daily with their FIESA. I just can't take anymore of what they dish out. Demand for 99% accuracy - KISS MY A$$!

on the holidays and something would go wrong with the computers and I would have to call IT. I always thought that IT programed something to go wrong on the holidays so they could come in to fix it and get overtime.

I do agree that the audits are escalated at bonus-earning time.

How can you get away with not signing off? I emailed my TSM that I disagree with the whole idea of signing off on something I can't verify myself. Management could care less I'm sure.

What I want is a way to sign off but --sm - anon

still be able to say that I am unable to verify the accuracy of the error due to being unable to review the report in order to cover my tail. Any ideas on wording, I figure I could keep the response in shorthand and use it on every error.

I've worked for MQ before, just before CBay bought MQ, but I can't remember (and maybe it's changed) what is the minimum number of hours or lines required per week? I thought it was something like 2000 lines per week. Is the minimum per hour still 100 lph for PT? Also, what's the pay rate for VR now? I think it was still 70% when I left. Seems to me, "one year acute care experience" was the basic requirement to sign on with an MTSO. Then it went to three years. Now, a lot of places require "five years' experience." I will never get a quarterly bonus. Here's what's required to get hired as a coder for MM right now: CCS required; RHIA, RHIT preferred. Bachelors or Associates degree preferred. Must have a minimum of 3 years of related coding experience; 5-7 years preferred. Have any MTSOs set a minimum number of lines per hour for VR Editing (per hour, day, week, or pay period)?
