Apparently the MQ mail was down most of the weekend, thus preventing the RTLs from sending their messages of high backlogs or late reports (while I don't consider 30 reports a high backlog that is a vent for another email). Tech knew the email was down and even posted a message on MQ Central, but apparently didn't let the RTLS or the CCMs know the MQ mail was down. When the emails started coming through finally this morning message after message from the RTLs and the CCM, each getting nastier and nastier about the backlogs and now late work and how come no one was working? Okay, let me get this straight- now we are supposed to check our emails every day even when we are off, but when no emails come through we are supposed to be mind readers that the email system is down, the accounts are in bad shape, check the backlogs and jump on and work OT even though it is not approved? So thanks tech people for the MQ mail mess this weekend. Perhaps you should just stop trying to fix the mail and actually get a communication system that works. And the next time the email goes down- let the corporate people know too. I really enjoy reading nasty emails one after the other on a Monday morning for something that was beyond my control. Man I love this company. :(
