What are we supposed to do when - Huh?

There is extremely loud static, so much so that we cannot even hear the dictator except for maybe 1 or 2 words in a paragraph?
Do we abandon the job or send it to QA or.....??
I've had some bad static before and suffered through it, but this is so bad that I can't hear anything at all, and the static is so loud that it's hurting my ears!

[ In Reply To ..]Always better to listen all the way through it, rough it out if you can and send to QA. Abandoning it will keep it out there and muck up the works (and quite possibly you'll keep getting it back). By listening, roughing out and sending to QA, you'll get it off the system and probably get some sort of line count.
