"enhanced" benefits and pay rates? I can't seem to find the e-mail that discussed this. I think it was in April or early May, but so far can't find it.

Why no word from Vern lately? Is he on a Norwegian cruise? I miss his chummy e-mails.

and I wondered if that might slow the process done at all. I remember thinking the way it was stated it was hard to comprehend the meaning of her maternity leave with the benefits package and therefore my mind just went blank as it usually does with any of corporate emails. I almost feel like another day without hearing anything may be a blessing. I feel that their package may consists of something that involves hurdles...nothing comes easy with "mmoodal." I hope I am very wrong and there is a silver lining out there.

The enhanced benefits were the medical coverage options. They also offered 401K. The sign up for benefits was a week ago.

As described in the All Hands, we are doing a comprehensive compensation review; this review will be inclusive of speech recognition, traditional transcription, technology, draft quality, incentives, account and dictator variances, workflow, PTO and benefit options, and professional development opportunities. While the analysis remains in process, we are targeting early summer for the distribution of a modified and enhanced compensation policy.

Early summer means what? I would assume we will hear something by next week. I would rather they just not say anything or pull their "Third Time's the Charm" nonsense and forget to send it than cut our pay yet again in the name of a "modifiend and enhanced policy." No compensation plan has even been beneficial to the MT. Pretty soon they are just going to ask for volunteers or we can pay them for being employed.

There is extremely loud static, so much so that we cannot even hear the dictator except for maybe 1 or 2 words in a paragraph? Do we abandon the job or send it to QA or.....?? .. in the "total hours" for the week when calculating our C-LPH? My 15-min OOW punches from this past week were included in my total hours. If they had NOT included those OOW punches when they were calculating my C-LPH, I would have been put into the next tier... just barely... but I WOULD have made it into the next tier.
