What IS the deal with the Teamwork graphic - on Plan and Actuals?

Maybe this is just my OCD tendencies speaking, but it really irritates me how the blue bar and the green bar do not line up. For example, if I am scheduled to work until 11, then I clock out at 10:30 for a break, the green bar for "Actuals" is already showing way past the end of the blue bar for "Plan." To whoever wrote the code behind the web page, how hard could it possibly have been to program the graphics so that they line up? It's really no big deal in actuality, but for some reason it really bugs me!

I've even mentioned it to my TSM before and they've been adjusted but still don't match. I think it's a time zone thing?

It sounds like maybe your schedule was not entered in Central Time by your supervisor. Look at your schedule in TeamWork and make sure the times there reflect your schedule in Central Time. Mine always match perfectly so I'm thinking that might be the problem. Worth a try.

So, yes my schedule IS entered in with Eastern Time. That is the answer, thank you!

Ok, but, so, what is confusing my tiny little mind is when the blue chunk says "12-4" on the popup text label and the green chunk says "12-4" on the popup text label, and so to my mind then graphics should line up!

Maybe the popup text over the blue graphic reflects central time, but the popup text over the green graphic reflects local time???

I would send your supervisor your schedule based on CST and ask her to correct it in TeamWork. She or he should be able to do that easily and then you'll match going forward.

Okay, guess I will show how dumb I am. I am an MT in a in-house office for a urologist. he dictates, I listen and transcribe. i get on here and read everyone fussing about VR. I get that VR is voice recognition...but what is your job? If you are an MT, you have VR, I realize it gets it wrong sometimes but what do you do? A little over a month ago my old PC finally crashed after 10 good years. I replaced it and had to put antivirus on it (of course). I ended up taking my son to the ER and can't afford insurance, so I ended up paying out of pocket for his antibiotics. A couple of days ago I took my mom to the ER because of sudden back pain. We live in a town of ~20,000 and have a 100-bed hospital with a fully staffed ER. We were the ONLY ones in the waiting room. It took 1-1/2 hours to be seen by a triage nurse, 1 hour to be escorted to an ER room, 1 hour to be seen by a nurse (never seen by an MD), and 2 hours for a different nurse to wander distractedly into the room with discharge/followup instructions. Urinalysis has been obtained today suggesting 50 to 100 WBCs, RBCs, many bacteria, with a WBC of 6.9, hemoglobin 14.3, positive nitrites and moderate leukoesterase in his urine. I've been logging in and out all day and every time I log in there is NJA. I can see in the back log that our region is wiped out. So, when I'm in Teamwork, do I list my shift as "excused absence no work" or "PTO unscheduled", if I want to be paid for my shift? I can't afford to take it off with no pay because I need the income for my first insurance premium coming out this check. Is "excused absence no work", unpaid? Thanks in advance! ...
