Spam emails from Catherine Miller - cr

Recently I started getting emails from Catherine Miller, advertising jobs and/or MT courses. I did at one time subscribe to her services, about 4 or 5 years ago, but cancelled because they were pretty much useless, and I can find work on my own. The odd thing is that it was under a different email address, so how did she get my current email address, which I've only had for a year and in a different state? I wonder if MModal is selling our private email addresses.

For those of us old enough to remember the Mitch Miller sing along -- doesn't VR kind of remind you of that? I work in Escription and the Alt-K that moves you along with the text is kind of like that old bouncing ball - except the notes and the lyrics are all wrong -- LOL. I had a new PA today who was not recognized by VR and had to do straight typing and I averaged 225 lph, compared to my usual 250-300 with VR, except got paid much more for it. It would appear that the company "filter" is having problems. My TSM e-mailed stating not to open this e-mail regarding DocQsign and to delete it. So far, I have received it 3 times and deleted it 3 times. Spammers need to get a life and stop this nonsense. ...

Is anyone else less than overwhelmed at the IT group's lack of competence in updating the spam filters? I'm getting pages and pages of REALLY offensive stuff and having to sift through pages of crap just to see if there is a single e-mail from anyone who really matters. (Not that the crap we get from HQ isn't offensive in its own way, but y'know what I mean...) C'mon guys, updating a spam filter is not exactly rocket science!!! ...

Slightly paranoid about being audited now since I'm reporting NJA instead of working 24/7. It's amazing just how many reminder emails we get and how many minute details for each account. I'm forwarding to my email to have just in case I'm ever managed out and need to defend myself along with the good and sometimes bad audits I've had. I'm human. Don't make huge amount of errors, but definitely not perfect... ...
