I truly love how MQ - I hate MQ

requires us to type more lines per hour and yet I'm constantly getting accounts that are not my primary accounts. Thanks for making my life pure he!! MQ! You have continually screwed me out of money every year since I've started here. You keep taking and I keep giving and I've about had enough. I know the 150 lph isn't that bad as I usually do that anyway....but seriously!!!! Is it too much to ask to be supplied with accounts that I am familiar with and doctors who I have grown to understand because I type them all the time...rather than trying to keep up with your requirements while trying to read client profiles for each new account I'm thrown into. I'M TRULY AND THOROUGHLY ANNOYED!!!

Whew...thanks for letting me vent. Screw U MQ!

Obviously things aren't any better at MQ. My guess is that things are even worse now, although how it could be worse than typing on 32 different accounts in 1 day is beyond me!!!

That's the day I decided to quit the Q -- best career decision I ever made.

AMEN! I thought I was the only one who felt this way! The bad thing is MQ does not care. They don't care if we complain, they don't care if we quit, THEY JUST DON'T CARE! Sad. I have been with MQ for over 10 years and I make almost minimum wage and guess what...THEY DON'T CARE!

I completely empathize...in my first 2 years @MQ, I had 5 managers (I can't keep track of all the initials they assign)and 4 QA people (again--whatever they are called now). In the first 6 months, I had 3 managers. I have been with the same 2 since I was "traded" to a different region this past summer.

These 2 are great....they are the first to admit they don't get all the name changes....that they are "on" 24/7....that they are drowning in work....that the amount of hospitals MQ adds and subtracts constantly is dizzying....and now have suspended our QA% and required line counts because we have had so many new hospitals added, with MDs who REFUSE to enunciate.

Honestly, I'm thankful to have them both--and I'm a crabby person....like so much so, my kids ask me if I'm ever happy!

Now, that doesn't excuse the MQ-BS cuz they keep heaping it on...but just like these forums, having these 2 make it bearable!

A new ESL dictating a DS. Can't speed him up because he's too "new" (to this country?). He is spelling every other word!!!!!! An email gets sent out around 4 a.m. stating there is a critical backlog and asking everyone to help out. The email shows the backlog, but it's really not that big. Says if you have hours to make up to do it today. This is at 4 a.m., when a lot of us are sleeping. Panic!! I log in for my regularly scheduled shift......and NJA! Thanks a lot MQ. I love to be able to fill in blanks that people can't get and to help them. I wish I could give them detailed explainations so that they can understand the why of the error or resources I used to find it. However, because of the ridiculous pay and having to wade though ILP garbage (sorry, I don't enjoy helping them out), I'm only able to leave brief or even no messages to try to at least make what I did when being an MT. Imagine 8 hours of looking up "J. A. Smith" in phone books to write down his/her phone number. Then searching for the modifier for his second line. Finally sucked it up and bought a Kinesis Advantage keyboard.
