more realistic and made more sense, less MTs would be failing these audits. Some errors are so minor they don't even rate a point score.

Not to mention, you can make a typo on a 20-page - sm

report and fail because it's not an actual percentage and doesn't take into account the length of the report. It's insane.

This is how they are dwindling their US staff - Everything going overseas.

They have fired many an MT due to this scoring process, some for less than a tenth of a percent. Most large MT companies are following suit. It is the end of an age for American workers. BBC reported that India's government astounded at 7.8% increase in economic growth from Oct-Dec 2014. Wonder how much of that increase was from US accounts going overseas. Just saying.

I think someone said recently that MM is planning to keep US MTs, although the majority will be overseas.

Regarding global economy, I think US wages will keep going down until we finally are competitive with the rest of the world. Maybe we're starting a transition period now.

Too bad it is just the middle and lower class - paying for the transition.

with mandatory overtime. Wonder how many have quit/been fired? I am doing totally strange accounts for the last 2 days. Long, convoluted CPs. Screw it, I'm just typing without worrying about Dr. Carjack's demands for a different ROS format. I have failed 3 audits; figure I'm on my way out anyway.

Until they revert back to my original schedule, they can forget - me ever working OT again. NM

Time for management to join the "team" and help when volumes are high. They are the ones who come up with how to we can do our jobs better, so go ahead and try. They would fail all audits!

Yes, I agree if it so out of turnaround, then get these people out there working who send us all these graphs. I really love it when they send cards, and when they send their updates. And when is there time to incorporate all of this stuff inside the limited time we have. Oh my, the graph will catch it if I am off onto something else. Better watch it. The all seeing eyeball is there.... :)

I wondered if any of you who are good at M*Modal can give me some good pointers on getting faster with this program. Can somebody tell me what this audit/QA procedure is now? I'm so confused with when they are done, how many reports are done, etc., etc. I had been told earlier that 5 reports would be randomly pulled monthly and checked. You would be notified you had been audited and the results. If you passed, another 5 would be done the next month and so on. If you didn't pass the audit, then a redo audit within 7-14 days would be done on another 5 random reports. ...

I don't understand how auditing works. Two of my reports were reviewed, and in each case, a word I had puit in had a line through it, but then it was replaced with the same exact word! For that, I got marked off, getting only 99.50% or 99.75%. I wish there was a way we could give direct feedback to the auditors at the time we're viewing our reports. ...

:( I have tried to give the QA program the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was being done fairly, rewarding us for near perfect QA scores. I have managed to keep my QA score above 99% every week until last week. Before last week, I normally have 8 to 11 reports pulled for audit, some short, some long. I have only had 3 audits in 2-1/2 years. Even though I received notice of scores of 99.6 or 99.7, I did not receive any account of what my mistakes were to produce those scores. A comma? A hyphen? I have requested more work and have been turned down. I have asked for another account and the same thing, turned down. I have been switched over to cover many accounts and when asked was told that the high producers are working on other accounts and I need to switch to cover.
