Just gave my 2 weeks without giving a justification. Upon reciept, I was asked why. I decided I'd give my why on the high road, but man was it tempting to just let it all fly in a manner be fitting a swarm of angry bees. Here's my response.
In the years I've been with the company, the corporate culture has changed dramatically. I feel as though M*Modal is no longer a good match for where I am currently nor where I'm going in the future. I value open dialogue, horizontally and vertically, and M*Modal is sorely lacking in that regard. The company promotes teamwork and cohesiveness, but does not live up to its own standards. My goal from day one has been to move up and be a valuable asset to the company, and I feel that I have not been afforded the opportunity to do those things. Frequent changes from C-level regarding policies and procedures as well as too frequent changes in accounts, teams, and guidelines leave too much room for errors, costly errors. With the increasing percentage of reports types, clients, and dictators being shuffled offshore, many domestic accounts are left scrambling to fill time. I've been lucky to have very little down time, but I'm afraid that this will not always be the case.
With my skill set, education, and drive to do bigger things, I have to move where the opportunity is, and that opportunity clearly is not with M*Modal any longer.
