7.4 Fluency - sammie

I have found my line count dropping with the 7.4 and I really don't like it. Seems to be more steps to take just to get out of the ADT field. Anyone else feel this way?

Mine have dropped. The ADT screen takes more steps. - And I think then puts me off my editing game.

Just because I feel uneasy, or unconfident or something, I'm not sure.

Also if you search, I am so used to searching the other way and now you have to make sure you are in the the right category that you have filled in for the search. Do not like it at all. I have an account that has no ADT so the red highlighted areas on the ADT screen which says invalid (which is what it is supposed to be) has to be hand entered. This upgrade is a total waste. Has not helped me out at all.

I know. Why can't it default to what you filled in? - They have not tested this version very well! (nm)

This upgrade is not an upgrade, and they need to know that since it benefits no one. It's a lose-lose all around, worse TAT and less money for us.

Supervisors parrot what management tells them to say. Their main objective is keeping their own job in this dying profession. MTs are simply numbers, not human beings with families, bills, feelings, fears, hopes and dreams -- simply numbers.

I was told to send a note listing the complaints to my supervisor and it will be turned in to tech along with all the other MTs who have contacted her also with complaints. Maybe with enough of us complaining, they will do something.

I suspected this because I thought "I know I typed that correctly" but this time I saw it happen. I'm doing a standard report and typed metaphyseal awl, but Fluency changed it to metaphyseal scar, it just changed period. How does that happen? Lord have mercy, I really hate this system. ...

Loaded 7.4 on my own computer. Downloaded and put icon on desktop but I am unable to open it. I sometimes will have this problem if I load links from MM through IE. I used Chrome and FireFox but still unable to open... Spoke to techs in India and they said it is because I'm using my own computer and to contact a domestic tech through my TSM. You guys know so much so I thought I would send this out to you :) Anyone?? ...

Does anybody else have lag when they are straight typing? I had this for awhile on their company-provided with inadequate specs (even though they still sent it as an "upgrade" for Fluency) and figured it was due to inadequate RAM since everything else was so slow. However, I recently decided to just set up an account on my personal computer with Win 7 and 3 times more RAM than required and, although everything else is pleasantly super fast, I still get laggy when straight ...
