F5 function not working

The search function is not working. It does this a LOT. Why? I don't know. I do not think it is my computer, as it has done this on both of my computers, even if I reboot. ...

Can anyone tell me how to find the search function? It's probably staring me right in the face, and I just don't notice it. ...

Have you ever used the break function simply because you had a dictator that was so horrible that you got frustrated and sent it back? I know that we are not supposed to do this and that MQ supposedly keeps track of how many breaks we use but I have to admit I have done this no occasion.
