Just moved over to 7.1. I see it there but haven't tried it. That would be a real plus if we could suspend a job!
They really need to tweak the auto capitalize feature though. It doesn't work near as well as 6 did. Also I seem to have some trouble with QA Markers followed by a period. ...
Have you ever used the break function simply because you had a dictator that was so horrible that you got frustrated and sent it back? I know that we are not supposed to do this and that MQ supposedly keeps track of how many breaks we use but I have to admit I have done this no occasion. I had a report so bad a couple of weeks ago which was over 1000 seconds long and an ESL doctor, not to mention scratchy sound, etc. About halfway through this thing I had already spent nearly 2 ...
As soon as I do cntrl L to put in a cc, I get an error message and DQS shuts off. This is the 5th time it has done it. Waiting for tech support, thought I'd ask while waiting. TIA ...
Good morning ladies and gentleman from MQ. I need your help.
On the ASR reports, how do you ALL CAPS a sentence?
Here's the deal . . . Say under allergies, the MD dictates no known drug allergies. What I do is hilite the sentence and then Control, Shift, A. After I do that, the sentences comes out No Known Drug Allergies (initial caps only). Then I have to do the Control, Shift, A again and it will switch to ALL CAPS.
Is there an easier way to do th ...
For *pain* scale (1-10), i was taught to add the range if not dictated.
Example:
D: Pain was a 5.
T: Pain was a 5/10.
I'm not familiar with *function* scale. This is a spine surgeon. This particular patient is having neck and shoulder issues (if that matters). Is there a specific *function* scale? If so, what is the range and do you add it like the pain scale, or do you guys just type as dictated without adding the range? ...
The one that takes the voice to where you put the cursor? Sometimes it works and sometimes it just does not. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem. It seems to NOT work quite a bit and I like to use that function a lot....... :( ...
This is a dictator who's not fond of articles, conjunctions or verbs. Have transcribed as dictated. Can anyone please tell me what the "INT" might mean here? It sounds pretty clear but could be "IMT".
Many thanks.
Kidney area, in cm2 (sq cm): left - 42.39, right - 42.39.
Perfusion percent INT: left - 56.49, right 43.51
Perfusion percent (slope): left - 79.18, right 20.82 ...
Is this not an option in the new platform? This is the toggle that prevented you from putting two capital letters together...i.e., typing She instead of SHe. I tend to do this a lot and would to enable this function if possible. ...
I must hit alt L 20 times a day instead of alt K. Seems like I do it when I'm in front of a word like "in" or "the" - you know, something that is in a document 1000 times.... I usually do alt z to undo it, but once that is done, the red box no longer works until it gets to the last occurrence of the word alt z corrected.
How do I disable the alt L function? Is there a line to remove from a macro? ...
The search function is not working. It does this a LOT. Why? I don't know. I do not think it is my computer, as it has done this on both of my computers, even if I reboot. ...
What is the correct way to transcribe FEF 25-75%? Since the BOS says to write percentages 25% to 75% instead of using a dash, is that how the name of the test is supposed to be transcribed, FEF 25% to 75%? ...
Nursing home patient has cognitive deficits:
"Prior to discharge to long-term care, question raised regarding the patient's ability to reside at home independently outside of a supervised living context. Will request occupational therapy, perform a (s/l) "TELLS" assessment and follow up cognitive testing."
Thanks. ...
I have been off..and I come back and notice my Alt function key does not work in ADP screen and autocorrect and called in and told now they are case sensitive and I have to now capitalize A for accept..., etc.? ...
Can someone suggest the key strokes that they use for Inscribe for VR. Have tried the shortcut editing keys they have listed, but I don't see a couple on there, like how do you move the cursor to the voice? Thanks for any help. ...
I know this is hopeless, but here's the sentence: "Patient had echocardiogram done showing marked s/l leeterdeezed left ventricular systolic function." I suppose the "deezed" could be disease, but I don't know...
