E-mail scroll bar woes - pitbullmom

It only took 3 days for Support to help me get the new e-mail. Now that I can get into it, the scroll bar does not work, no arrows on sides to move script up and down, etc.

UGH. Any ideas and has this happened to anyone else ? Or do I have to call Support again ? UGH.

I wrote my CCM a note a couple of days ago to let her know I couldn't read all of her daily emails about our back log because her emails were "stretched" and I didn't have a way to scroll side to side or up and down anymore and I could only read a portion of her email.

She told me that they are still tweaking the email system and that I should give it a few days to see if it works itself out because there are so many changes still being made to the system. It's good to know I'm not the only one having this issue!

I do know she's not the norm for MQ. She's been my CCM for several years now and I truly love her. I've been with MQ for almost 15 years so trust me I have seen them ALL go through the revolving door but If something ever happens and I didn't work for this one anymore I'd be devastated.

on the e-mail, there is a button labeled "Action," click the drop-down menu and choose "view printable version" and see if that helps. Sometimes works for me.

My CCM doesn't hide the cc list and so the emails stretch too far to the right. I use the zoom function under tools on the Internet explorer bar and shrink the screen down to 50% so I can see the whole page on 1 screen. Really small type, but that's the only way I can see it. It's only the CCM's status reports that I have to do this to.

what I do is, click on "reply with history" ... and it will show the entire email. Then just cancel when you're done.

Don't know if that is a possible feature in MS Word. I'm typing a document and it doesn't scroll. Next thing I know I'm looking down at the bottom of my monitor then using the mouse to move it up. Has anyone been successful in using an adapter to hook up their old keyboard to their new MQ Dell computer? I hate the low-profile Dell USB keyboard they sent me and all of my other keyboards have PS2 connectors. After being unsuccessful at going out shopping to try to buy a new USB keyboard with a higher profile, I purchased an adapter to convert a PS2 keyboard to a USB port hook-up but it does not recognize the keyboard. Just wondering if anyone else ...

Not that I really WANT to hear from the Q, but am I the only one who does not have e-mail still? I can log into MQ Central fine, click the "my community" button, and the regular e-mail page does come up but with only four boxes at the top (no e-mail list). Doubt he will even read it but if he does, it was nice knowing all of you. I did not use any bad language, but I did speak my mind. I'm not even totally sure the big picture includes MTs/MEs so I guess we should all be looking to change occupations. Either way, sooner or later I will be hired outside of this industry. Okay, it is 8 p.m. Friday night. Just checked e-mails. Noting my CCM sent one out at 4 p.m. Little concerned as to its content. She stated mandatory conference calls in the next 2 weeks with an "agenda," but will be brief. With what I am reading on this board, I am worried what this might be about. I cannot access my web e-mail. I believe there was an upgrade happening this week (thought today). Now they want user name and password. Is our name our e-mail address and is the password the same as the one we log into the intranet with? I'm hoping it is just down for a few hours until they do the upgrade. Any thoughts? Thanks! ...
