Cant make no money at MQ anymore - EE

I have had it..The past 2 paychecks I made approximately $200.00 less..constantly getting work I have never done before from hospitals I have never done because there is no work in my hospitals, constantly having to run searches in DoQManage for reports because I have never done those hospitals before..then we are told there is a certain amount of lines/hour we have to do..there is NOT enough time in an hour to do all this plus transcribe. MQ..JUST LEAVE US ALONE AND LET US TRANSCRIBE..Let the clerks and the hospitals take care of all the clerk work and make the doctors more responsible by having them enter the information in before they dictate and spell the doctors names and speak at a normal rate, tone and clearly, otherwise send the reports to the hospitals just that way and let the doctors and hospitals fix the reports..This morning, I have been working for 3 hours and have gotten hardly anything done..too busy reading CPs from unfamiliar hospitals and searching reports and trying to figure out what the doctors are trying to convey to me.

My pay was just starting to rise again, but in the last 3 weeks have been off my primaries (where did they go?) and back in the cesspool. I have changed my hours to accommodate getting up at 4 a.m. and working every other weekend both days. This weekend almost all day Saturday on a totally different account than my primary. Wondering where all the work in my primary has gone. What happened to lockdown? My pay too have gone down about $200 per pay in the last month. Wonder if it is any better anywhere else? Considering checking out other options.

I've worked from home before but had to work full-time from home and part time at the hospital just to pay the bills then ended up quitting at home and went back to the hospital full time because I could make more money working from the hospital 40 hours than working 60 hours between the two. I type my butt off full time and don't make anywhere close to $2k a month. This is the first time I've gotten to see it since it's the first time they've had enough work for me to make my line count. I just started about 3 weeks ago part time doing radiology in Powerscribe at 0.045 cents a line. Is there any way to make money at this? I'm used to making around $20 an hour, and I'm making about $4 an hour now, wondering if it gets better or if it is worth my time. Thanks for any input!! ...

So I have been working for private doctors for the past few years. Prior to that I worked for national companies doing straight transcription. Rates back then were 8 to 10 cpl, with 8 cpl being pretty low. Now 8 cpl seems to be where companies tap off. Those of you who claim to make TONS OF MONEY TYPING.... You are not straight typing MTs under regular circumstances IF I believe you...and I don't. You probably work 7 days a week, all hours of the day like most MTs. You DO NOT work a regular 8-hour day, 5 days a week and make that much money. When did hospital jobs get almost as bad as working for a service? When I have had hospital MT jobs before, we were either paid hourly, or hourly base pay plus incentive.
