Based on the current rate of pay of 3-4 cpl, I'd like you to know exactly what that pays for from me.
1. I will not search for a doctor's name or address outside the facility I am working on. I will leave a blank and let QA find it.
2. I will not check to see if capitalization of instruments, etc. Is in order, with the exception of medications, on VR reports.
3. I will not divide a long sentence up when the dictator says "and" all throughout a paragraph on a VR report.
4. I will not overly check for punctuation on a VR report.
5. I will not spend more than 1 minute searching for any word on a VR report. I will leave blanks. Let QA look for it.
6. I will not check to see "IF" a WT goes with whichever hospital I'm on. If it auto populates and the dictator says "progress note", then that's what you get. Separate these 20-30 hospitals so we are working on ONE at a time and can keep all the account specifics straight.
7. Quit asking us to work OT so the TL's get bonus pay for keeping accounts in TAT. Why would I give up my time for that?
That's it for now. If you want QUALITY work, then pay QUALITY wages. And yes, I am leaving this field as soon as my classes are finished. :)
