HOW DO I DELETE A QA NOTE IN DQS? - wits end

I have been trying to delete a QA note that I initially inserted, but at the last minute I figured out what the mush-mouthed dictator was saying. I CANNOT take out the marker or note! Is there a way to do this, or do I have to send it to dreaded QA?

We get enuf QA markers, we get audited, ding ding ding, PAYCUT! Easy for them...

why cant you delete it? - Just highlight and delete

Then, do Ctrl Shift Q and delete the note.

Otherwise, on upload, delete it from there.

I'm pretty sure I know the process, been at this for a looooong time.

It simply would not delete. I checked my stats today and it shows a QA submission for that report. I don't know why it stayed...

Guess my frustration was shining thru! Thanks for all the help to all who took the time out of their busy day to help me.

Had to contact CCM and QA and they actually had to remove it themselves bcuz something was "corrupting the function" (??) Anywho, thanks to everyone who suggested help.

delete the text in the note and hit okay.

Maybe 'remove broken marker' if that option is available? - nm

Every so often when I press the delete key, it zooms through the report and deletes every character past where the cursor was located. Once everything is gone, the hour glass keeps flashing, the cursor no longer works, and I have to shut down the program and lose all of the material deleted. I have lost entire reports when going back to the beginning and trying to edit something. Any ideas on how I can stop this from happening? ...
