Wrists numb?

Ankles hurting?

Ears ringing?

Nerves shot?

Anxiety and depression 2 fold?

Stress out of control?

Weight gain from lack of exercise?

Tired eyes?

Bills still not paid?

YEP.....sounds like you worked it today. Get some rest because you're gonna do it again tomorrow.....over worked and severely underpaid. How many of you got let go today without any explanation? How many of you got a check today that was short? How many of you didn't get your check again today?

I so hate this field. I was not lucky today to get out, but I am not giving up hope...tomorrow is another day.

I am waiting for my new office chair, one with good cushioning, so my behind does not hurt so much. I am waiting for the new iPAD I ordered, for both work and personal use. I also bought a hanging chair at Pier 1 for my patio, which allows me to sit at an angle and take the pressure off my back and swing as well, so I can enjoy the nice weather we are still having. All and all pretty good, except I still have a lot of work on my desk and injections tomorrow with one of my clients. My husband has been cooking lavish meals for me for 2 weeks now, so I better get exercising.

but since you asked - I'm doing GREAT, thanks! After paying my dues, an opening came up at work and I got the hours I always wanted; absolutely love the change. Now have time to get to an exercise class and relax with a salad, still early enough for the library or window shopping or a little soft guitar and coffee/dessert at a local Starbucks with a friend or two. And I can join that bowling league I missed last year. Heard from a long lost friend on facebook, shared pictures from younger years, and, since in different states but driving distance to Vegas, planning a get together there sometime next year for a razzle-dazzle reminisce. Yard is all decorated for Halloween and looking forward to putting the up the x-mas tree - so much so it's going up for T-Giving this year.

I don't bring in much, but I am able to give back. I am alone, but far from lonely. I'm not in love, but I am loved daily. I work at home, but my life is out and about. I'm not totally physically fit, but I am cancer-free.

Overall, my life pretty fan-frigging-tastic; who needs a pot to peedidle in anyway?

Also, she asked WHAT hours, not how many. Don't know what your problem is and don't rightly care, but it shows. Good luck to you, tho.

As for the question - I changed from second shift to first, and there are a couple of time differences. I do work extra when needed.

I'm broke, but surviving and working. The 'lean' years in this profession have made me appreciate many things I have taken for granted in the past. Climbing out the window onto my roof to watch a sunset when I cannot afford a movie ticket, for example. I'd rather do something about the blues to pull me out of it instead of waiting for it to pass and ending up with a short fuse.

Works for me, to each their own. I can't get yesterday back for a do over, so I make sure I fill each day as much as possible with things I love. MT-ing will not make me hate my life, and neither will I.

Hi Everyone:) Is anyone else having trouble getting work tonight? I am on 3 accounts, and all I have gotten since this afternoon is 3 jobs. My main account has no work and my 2 secondary accounts have no work, and they told me that they give first pick of the jobs to the girls who work primarily on my 2 secondary accounts. Just had a female dictator who has been on ASR for a while, usually very good reports. 11 minutes of one big ole solid paragraph, took 45 minutes to strighten the mess out. If you can't hear parts of the dictation, leave a QA marker. It looks really bad when the client is on 100% for ILPs and all you did was copy and paste an old progress note with a few changes to the impression and plan. Seriously?! Did you listen to any of the dictation? Cuz it didn't come close to matching up. Sure, the dictator was difficult and hard to hear, but I could hear enough to know that what the ILP typed didn't even come close to what was said, ...
