TTS interview tonight - need to know

It looks to me like a 50:50 blend of pros and cons regarding TTS on MT Stars Company board. I'm a glass-half-full type gal, so looking forward to interviewing tonight. Before I do, I'd love to know opinions on eScription vs. Dictaphone platforms. I've used eScription in the past and hated it, due to being constantly badgered about using the mouse. I refuse to give up my mouse. Some people are faster with the mouse, others with keystrokes. Wondering if TTS does the same thing regarding eScription. Also, those of you who use the Dictaphone platform with TTS....how do you like it? Is it easy to learn and use? Thanks for all opinions.

I'm on eScription. I do more than the minumum lph and use a combination of keystrokes and mouse. No one has ever monitored my mouse use in over 2 years. As long as you have good production, they don't seem to care how you achieve it. Sorry, don't know about the Dictaphone platform, never used it. I actually like working for them (aside from wishing they paid better), but they leave me alone to do my work.

I really like it. Easy to use. I also work for TTS on Dictaphone as an IC and am paid better than at other companies. Like the account and the hours too. They pretty much leave you alone once you get past the 100% review. Good luck with the interview. Don't worry, she's pretty nice.

Dictaphone - Fino4beat

If it's ExText, it's a great program. I used to train MTs on it. Once you learn the commands, it's super flexible, really easy to look up old reports for reference, and just overall a really, really nice platform.

It was a good interview! I'm impressed. TTS doesn't offshore at all. All employees and ICs are in America. That says a lot, in my opinion.

The line rate is a little higher but they require adherence to a schedule/hours. Newbutold is an IC with them. Maybe she can weigh in on how that's going.

Working on the same account, doing the same job, some ICs, some employees. Paying ICs more. Illegal stuff.

If you're an IC somewhere and feel you're being treated illegally, go right ahead and file a complaint with the DOL for yourself. Maybe here, IC contracts are handled properly. You wouldn't know that.

Otherwise, it's discrimination! You can't have 2 people doing the same job, calling one of them an IC and the other an employee. It's that simple. Having been through this with another company, that's the position of the DOL. Hang on and wait for the big $$$$ penalties, and you'll find out.

I work for TTS and they don't badger me about mouse. I am on EScription. There are maybe a few things that I use the keys for, but I have just done it too long and feel I am faster with the mouse. They leave me alone and don't bother me about it. I am pleased with them.

And they wonder why my count is not up to par??!! I told my QAM that my production depends almost entirely on the quality of the ASR (of which there is none!). I am also so sick of the fact ASR will not output "the patient" and will only output patient. And, I know if I don't add in every single little "the" or "a", I will be dinged and shredded. Hi Everyone:) Is anyone else having trouble getting work tonight? I am on 3 accounts, and all I have gotten since this afternoon is 3 jobs. My main account has no work and my 2 secondary accounts have no work, and they told me that they give first pick of the jobs to the girls who work primarily on my 2 secondary accounts. If you can't hear parts of the dictation, leave a QA marker. It looks really bad when the client is on 100% for ILPs and all you did was copy and paste an old progress note with a few changes to the impression and plan. Seriously?! Did you listen to any of the dictation? Cuz it didn't come close to matching up. Sure, the dictator was difficult and hard to hear, but I could hear enough to know that what the ILP typed didn't even come close to what was said, ...
