DISAPPEARING POSTS - ??

Does anyone know why posts just disappear? Posted something around midnight, and get up this morning and it's gone. I was asking about relationship between *******, if any, who owns them. Does this moderator get paid?

Other posts about discrepency between pay of MTs and pay of management who have never transcribed have disappeared, top heavy company comments disappeared...

Both Inbox and Junk/Bulk. If you didn't delete it yourself, you must have received an automated email providing reason for deletion by moderator.

I don't think it's a competing website that I posted. Last night when I discovered it, it was because it came up www.mtmatters.mtstars.com. That looks like they might be related somehow, and then it bopped over to the other one mdts or something like that. Seemed like they were all connected.

It was there last night. Gone today. Just like my post. I did not imagine it. If you type it it without the mtstar.com part, it bops to the other one that is not mtstars. Trying to answer without writing out other website names. I SAW THEM AND WAS AT THEM LAST NIGHT.

You cannot add www. before a subdomain for ANY site. Like you cannot access www.forum.mtstars.com.

To make things more clearer is that www.mtstars.com & mtmatters.mtstars.com both are subdomains. One contains 'mtmatters' and other 'www'. The original site is only 'mtstars.com'

I know what you mean. You have to be here 24/7 in order to catch some information before it is deleted. Ever since they put in that option for the Original Poster to be able to come back and delete posts, it seems like a lot of them disappear in only a few hours. But have no way of knowing if it was the Original Poster or the Moderator who deleted it, so never know why it was deleted.,

I have no clue how many Moderators there are here, but there must be more than one. I was reading a post around 4 a.m. about a company that did not pay its Medical Transcriptionists. It was originally posted on the MAIN BOARD. A Moderator moved it to the COMPANY BOARD. They must have read it and decided it was okay, otherwise why move it if you are going to delete it later. Anyway, I came back later this morning and there were maybe 4 or 5 comments. Next time I looked, it had been deleted. Can’t blame the Moderator, because the Original Poster could have deleted it.

Like the other poster said, your post was definitely deleted because you included web links in your post. That is a no-no. Especially when you ask about a touchy subject. There were a few posts about the owner of this site being from Pakistan – those all got deleted too. Part of your question, I think, relates to that.

Posters will be temporarily banned if they continue to post web links. Since you have now done it twice – I have a feeling your second post and this post will disappear soon.

I guess we all have to learn to read faster. LOL

Been an MT for almost 15 years now, mostly from home. Am starting to see that I can't get the same line counts and am wondering if anyone else sees it. I am amazed at how many people ask the same question year after year about company after company. Companies have until 1/31 to mail W2s. The bigger the company, the longer it takes to finish up the previous year's books and have W2s ready to print.
