opti-script wait list - Anyone have an idea on how - MT4Eight

long it takes to get hired when you're on the wait list. Anyone know of anybody to get hired off this list? Just curious. I need a job desperately!! Applied at Accentus too and tested for them, never heard anything. This waiting is a killer.

Maybe they are waiting on acquiring an account(s) and employment is pending that? Interesting, we now have waiting lists to get hired?

I got hired from the wait list. They called me 4 months after I applied. They are a wonderful company to work for, by the way. I did, however, get laid off because of no work. They told me if they got more work they would call me back, so I would be sad if they are really hiring people off the wait list instead of rehiring the people who got laid off, but who knows. Good luck to you.

they lay people off instead of expecting you to "flex" and sit in front of your computer with no work all day I guess. I've heard they are a good company to work for. That's not very reassuring to me though that they've laid people off that I'll get hired off the wait list any time soon. I guess I'll keep on looking - *sigh* Good luck to you.

Well, you never know. I was doing clinic work for them, and our account went to EMR. But maybe they have plenty of acute care work. I don't really know. Hope you find something you like.

I work at Opti-Script (good company), and the clinic work has dwindled due to EMR. But acute care is going strong and it's my understanding they have some potential new hospital work. Some of their acute care work is pretty tough (lots of ESL), so it would be hard for a clinic MT to learn that work quickly. Plus they don't seem to have many people leave. Even acute care sometimes gets low, but that's the nature of the beast.

of getting on the acute care account that is a true nightmare. People jump ship from that one as fast as they can!

difficult account - Opti MT

At least they pay a higher rate for very difficult accounts, both for typing and speech. Once I learned the account I have no complaints about the pay. Of course, all of us would like more, but the pay is very fair. You just have to stick with it and use your expander. It's really not bad.

I tested with Opti-Script less than 2 months ago and I was told that I passed, but that there was a waiting list to be hired and that they would contact me as soon as they had openings. I just noticed that they posted an ad on Monday for acute care MTs "needed immediately", but I have not heard from them. I have read so many good things about Opti-Script - tested recently but no openings right now. Low turnover rate - which is GOOD! So I'll wait.....So many slave shop companies out there - I don't want to go that route. Talked with some companies and tested with some. BTW, one gripe I have - testing for a company - and knowing you did well, but absolutely NO REPLY!!! Holy cow.. just for kicks I googled myself and found my resume that I had sent to Opti-script several months back posted on the internet. I'm shocked. Talk about an invasion of privacy. Do I want my name, address and phone number and personal work information splashed across the internet for the world to see.. NO.... How do I get it removed? ...
