the Patient First test with flying colors, easy peasy. LOL Actually, the Opti-Script job is 100% speech. Not my cup of tea, but M-F would be nice.

I was paid for spaces, decent wages, straight typing, but was still tough to get a good line count, and not sure why. Single insurance cost is low. Communication not always so great. Probably just me, but something just always felt "off" about things. I heard such glowing reports and was ecstatic when I got the job, then ..... not so ecstatic. But you know, one man's garbage is another man's treasure find. :-)

The HR person has the personality of a rock, but the owner is a delight to talk with. It is small enough still, maybe the little glitches will get worked out. I still miss the old days when a person could make a comfortable living doing MT, so today may just be one of my cranky days. Good luck if you apply -- could do worse. :-)

FH out of Florida. Day shift M-F is a bone to put up with this almost all ESL acct.

The speech draft is really pretty good, better than any other account I've worked on. It is challenging in some ways but very interesting work and Opti SR pay is higher than others.

I tested with Opti-Script less than 2 months ago and I was told that I passed, but that there was a waiting list to be hired and that they would contact me as soon as they had openings. I just noticed that they posted an ad on Monday for acute care MTs "needed immediately", but I have not heard from them. I have read so many good things about Opti-Script - tested recently but no openings right now. Low turnover rate - which is GOOD! So I'll wait.....So many slave shop companies out there - I don't want to go that route. Talked with some companies and tested with some. BTW, one gripe I have - testing for a company - and knowing you did well, but absolutely NO REPLY!!!
