Opti-Script's 3rd shift - looking

Is there anyone out there that has recently been hired for 3rd shift at Opti-Script? I'm thinking about applying. It is a level 5 account, and was wondering how hard this account really is. I don't want to jump out of the frying pan into the fire. The platform is Exeditor, and I really don't know anything about it. Is it productive? Does anyone have any info at all about this account or platform? TIA

Company better than most in pay, benefits, communication, QA feedback, and how they treat MTs. Speech is about half or a little more of the work, but their speech rates are highest I'm aware of anywhere. But they do expect you to be on and working when you're scheduled, as a lot of the work is 2 hour. Manager is flexible but with limits.

Platform is Dictaphone and pretty good. Account is tough, there's no doubt. Lots of ESL, but QA feedback helps with sample reports, good feedback, and support. I'd give myself a good month to get used to it, but they pay hourly for 2 weeks, I think.

Because the pay is higher on a hard account like this, some do very well. I work days and average about $15/hour, but third shifters make more. I think I'm about average, and some others make close to $20 an hour.

If you've got good experience and ESL doesn't scare you, I'd give it a try. It's a huge hospital system so they do everything, not like a small town hospital. But that's why the line rates are much better.

I'm not moving anywhere as I know that greener grass doesn't exist. And they are really nice to work for. Especially when I read the horror stories on here. But it might not work for everyone. It works for me, and I'm staying. Just hoping they don't get bought by a Nuance or MM because the rates would drop big-time for doing the same work. That's a race to welfare.

It is a word based platform. I think it is fairly straightforward. There is an expander function built in, but I use Instant Text which I love. I believe you can use almost any expander that goes with Word. Getting the reports is quick and easy. Bringing in demographics is pretty easy, and there is a simple process for when patient name cant be found. There is another program that keeps a running tally of your lines.

That's about all I can think of right now.

I tested with Opti-Script less than 2 months ago and I was told that I passed, but that there was a waiting list to be hired and that they would contact me as soon as they had openings. I have read so many good things about Opti-Script - tested recently but no openings right now. Low turnover rate - which is GOOD! So I'll wait.....So many slave shop companies out there - I don't want to go that route. Talked with some companies and tested with some.
