Webmedx - Disorganized? - Influx

Doing temp work with this comp while they take on a new account (my former employer) and see how disorganized they are. Seriously disorganized.

Currently one of the trainers is on vacation until Monday, perhaps it will be better once they are back to full staffing.

I havent seen that at all. There is a lot to learn but - everyone seems very helpful. nm

I've been with them for years, and I think they have poor communication and consistently questionable decisions (a lot of hiring and firing of management, IMO). We'd probably need to know more about what area you're pointing to as disorganized to know if it's a trend, though. I think they are grossly understaffed when it comes to management who handle these new accounts. A few people are wearing way too many hats (and clutching them with a death grip lest anybody else get a piece of their pie), and that could account for the disorganization you're mentioning. More info?

Yes - very poor communication but also, too many chiefs (ea w/ too many conflicting emls) AND major software problems. After 3 months some of us are still on client's platform as Web can't seem to get their software to work with hospital's, hospital is not happy, at all.

Web asks for the same info multiple times from MTs - schedules, info on reports after issues have been resolved, etc, replies to emails re software glitches, QA questions after multiple requests. Only a month of full-time with Web and it seems things are not getting better.

We get a new insurance company as of 7/1. Yippee - it costs more for everything but that makes no difference to the suits who pull in the big bucks. Was offered a management position with Assistmed for an extremely low salary (well below industry standard). There was no organization. Duties were "assumed" with no job description that was suitable. The account manager I was working for literally "dropped off the face of the Earth" after I had 5 days on the job. The unremarkable Wedmedx needs to pay for the downtime MTs are incurring because they want to switch everything over to their horrendous ISR. The unremarkable Webmedx requires 1 to 4 hours to get new computers up and running and yet we production people are supposed to make up that time or use our PTO time or just not get paid. I just want you to know what a phenomenal job I think you all did on those atrocious accounts. I QA'ed your work and was amazed at what you could decipher out of those dictations. Anyone else working for/or have worked for both who has noticed a difference in the quality of the ASR on one as compared to the other. I may be crazy, but I think I make far fewer corrections to the ASR on MQ work. Maybe just lucky, but I tend to be a mouse user (I know - shame on me, but I am getting better) and I find my right hand lets me know when I have been using the mouse more. ...

My hospital employs Wmx for overflow work. Their contact person claims we are their only account not using voice recognition, and that almost 70% of the VR reports are good to go without editing. I find this hard to believe, as so many doctors are resistant to VR because it doesn't work well. I also find their 70% claim questionable as we've had VR for Radiology for 5 years and approximately TWO percent of reports do not need editing and it has been a big waste o ...
