Webmedx...any new info on them? - tiredtyper

I had read a lot about this company several months ago that was very bad. I was just wondering how they are currently and what are their requirements for part-time and is the pay comparable to MQ? Radiology pay? Thanks in advance.

(BTW, The "very bad" stuff was anxious reaction to announced changes in platform, etc., designed to keep this large MTSO very competitive in coming years. As opposed to small operations with no changes planned...)

We are drowning in work right now with lots of accounts coming on soon. There's more than enough to go around.
Pay is comparable to other MTSOs and with bonus, I make over 9 CPL.

is so tight, I apply to the half-decent jobs and many times never even get a response.

The changes to the health insurance are killing me. The closed formulary is awful, there are 2 things I take for which there are no generics and I have actually stopped taking 1 prescription because I just can't afford $100 a month on 2 prescriptions. I don't think they understood that some of us would have to make choices like this. I certainly don't feel well, but it really comes down to paying the electric bill or getting a prescription.

This is the job that is finally forcing me to look outside MT. I feel like this last "loss" is too much to bear.

God, I hope they re-think getting new insurance next time. - This has been a deal-breaker for me. nm

I have NOT ONCE run out of work at Webmedx. Been here since 2003. We have backlogs of work right now, bonuses all over the place. So work some OT to offset the extra cost of the insurance. At least they provide insurance and pay some of the cost. Nothing is perfect but I am staying!

Seems some are flooded with work while others are left out to dry? Is it the MT's or the company?

Differences in accounts, platforms, supes - many factors

On radiology our best money maker left and got replaced by some not-so-great accounts. Sometimes Chartmatrix has work when Enterprise doesn't, and vice versa. Some accounts have gone VR, and some have not.

It isn't easy to get off some of the spam and phone call lists when you click for more information about some of these courses. I've found that for me, it isn't worth it to get that information if I am giving up my privacy. Some of these people are relentless! You can't get away from them once they get your information. The unremarkable Wedmedx needs to pay for the downtime MTs are incurring because they want to switch everything over to their horrendous ISR. The unremarkable Webmedx requires 1 to 4 hours to get new computers up and running and yet we production people are supposed to make up that time or use our PTO time or just not get paid. I just want you to know what a phenomenal job I think you all did on those atrocious accounts. I QA'ed your work and was amazed at what you could decipher out of those dictations. Anyone else working for/or have worked for both who has noticed a difference in the quality of the ASR on one as compared to the other. I may be crazy, but I think I make far fewer corrections to the ASR on MQ work. Maybe just lucky, but I tend to be a mouse user (I know - shame on me, but I am getting better) and I find my right hand lets me know when I have been using the mouse more. ...
