up and wondering about lines. Is is possible to do 3500 on VR a day or 2000 in regular tx? Know anything about the new accounts coming on?

No, you will never do that on M-Modal. Read the VR board, everybody complains about it, even people who use it at other companies. It depends on your account whether you would be able to do 2000 straight typing. There are some really bad ones.

Just to be clear, I agree with anon in that you'll never be able to get those line counts on M-Modal. I just can't see it.

I have always been a high producer and cannot get over about 2000 straight typing and maybe 2200 VR, won't get much higher with M-modal.

Your answer was a little overly dramatic and makes the assumption that someone told her she would be making that number. She asked a question. It didn't require you to accuse 'them' of lying to her.

Spoken like true "THEM" management. A little defensive, aren't we? No where in the post did I read an accusation about lying. I read "IF" they tell you that is possible, don't believe them. A logical assumption to make since she was asking about a very specific figure, as if somebody HAD indicated to her this was possible. In any event, whether somebody told her that or not, or she just dreamed up that figure in her head, IT AIN'T HAPPENING on M-Modal.

It's probably just the way you approached it, which makes it sound like you are warning her that they are not being honest with her, and you were very dramatic about it. A little less drama might have made your answer more credible.

The unremarkable Wedmedx needs to pay for the downtime MTs are incurring because they want to switch everything over to their horrendous ISR. The unremarkable Webmedx requires 1 to 4 hours to get new computers up and running and yet we production people are supposed to make up that time or use our PTO time or just not get paid. I just want you to know what a phenomenal job I think you all did on those atrocious accounts. I QA'ed your work and was amazed at what you could decipher out of those dictations. Anyone else working for/or have worked for both who has noticed a difference in the quality of the ASR on one as compared to the other. I may be crazy, but I think I make far fewer corrections to the ASR on MQ work. Maybe just lucky, but I tend to be a mouse user (I know - shame on me, but I am getting better) and I find my right hand lets me know when I have been using the mouse more. ...

My hospital employs Wmx for overflow work. Their contact person claims we are their only account not using voice recognition, and that almost 70% of the VR reports are good to go without editing. I find this hard to believe, as so many doctors are resistant to VR because it doesn't work well. I also find their 70% claim questionable as we've had VR for Radiology for 5 years and approximately TWO percent of reports do not need editing and it has been a big waste o ...

So, I am doing the same amount of work, frantically and furiously trying to make up for our pay cut because we have such a GREAT new VR engine, and the lines are coming REALLY hard. Am I the only one that has noticed this?
