Anyone with info on webmedx? - Patty Scott

I have a telephone interview with them on Monday and I am trying to get as much info about them as possible. I looked at their website and all looks great, as well as it "says" that computer equipment is provided. If anyone has any input, good or bad, please feel free to update me. Thanks.

I have worked at Webmedx for 8 years. Nice people, my boss is great. They do supply the computer. Benefits are great and pretty cheap if just for the employee. Add a husband and kids and it gets high. Plenty of work. New platform; some like some don't, pay is fair, 6 paid holidays a year. At times, the request to work overtime is high. Overall a good fit for me. Good Luck!

Hey there. I just wanted to let you know that I did get the job. I have already been through training and after 2 days have been released from QA. Thanks for your reply to my original post. You are correct...so far they seem to all be really nice and the company seems to be a very "with it" type of company. Have a good evening. Oh, if you dont mind. Pay on time. Great supervisor. Provides computer. Offer free classes from time to time. Pretty fair management. New platform, easy to learn. A lot of OT lately. I like it.

of course, the docs on "traditional" are so bad even the speech rec can't figure them out. The pay is less for speech rec even if the doc is horrible. Makes it hard to like speech rec for sure. However, some of the speech rec reports are almost letter perfect, so it makes up for the few bad apples. This is JUST MY opinion.

The unremarkable Wedmedx needs to pay for the downtime MTs are incurring because they want to switch everything over to their horrendous ISR. The unremarkable Webmedx requires 1 to 4 hours to get new computers up and running and yet we production people are supposed to make up that time or use our PTO time or just not get paid. I just want you to know what a phenomenal job I think you all did on those atrocious accounts. I QA'ed your work and was amazed at what you could decipher out of those dictations. Anyone else working for/or have worked for both who has noticed a difference in the quality of the ASR on one as compared to the other. I may be crazy, but I think I make far fewer corrections to the ASR on MQ work. Maybe just lucky, but I tend to be a mouse user (I know - shame on me, but I am getting better) and I find my right hand lets me know when I have been using the mouse more. ...
