In the beginning, we were told to keep track of all jobs (on our time of course and that it took, lot of time) that we felt had more than 40% editing, and llist reasons when they started rolling out the carpet for editing. If they felt that dictator needed more work, they would send it back for more retraining. That lasted for a short time, then we were told (well over a year ago) that they were no longer going to be answering those requests due to other changes that would take those people who performed those duties away. IMHO, it is the MTs that trained the voice recognition machines by making the continuous corrections for their new system everyone is talking about -- physicianschoice.
Never have I worked anywhere in less than 2 years did a company treat their employees like this, when times are so rough, and yet employees stood by them, yet they continue to make things harder on the employee -- pays were cut because of a "new and improved voice recognition" which has been nothing BUT counterproductive, (they have yet held up their end of what they said they were going to do on that, nor will they, back then, this new front line system was not even mentioned on a CC or email), almost doubled the health insurance, closed the formulary, took away other benefits that were available to full time and for some of those like short and long term disability, we have to pay for, and made full time 40 hours instead of 35-37 hours, and this is not everything. Used to be proud to say where I worked.
