You have no clue why I was needing the information and it isn't a dumb question. I didn't ask if anyone was happy or not, I didn't even ask if you worked at either place. I'm asking for opinions, which it seems like everyone here generally HAS one, but only a few answered. If you weren't going to answer my question, why did you even reply?

Nuance may have their own board but Precyse does not..yes there are some comments in the archives, a few from not too long ago but sometimes you want a fresh perspective of what people think..in this business a lot can change in a week...LOL

...it seems as though you're asking the opinion of MTs who have worked at BOTH places. Perhaps a lot of the people who viewed your post haven't worked for both. As for me, I have only worked at Nuance and it was the nastiest place I have ever worked, so even though I have never worked at Precyse, I pick them! :)

is not Nuance since I was not happy with the numerous changes not for the good after a merger. Can't speak for Precyse since haven't worked there, but they have had both pos. and neg. posted here. I don't know who the recruiter is now since the name is no longer noted on their ads, but the one in the past was a very nice and efficient lady, used to recruit for MQ back in the day in my region, when MQ still had many regional offices, had no openings in my area but referred to me to another MQ region who ended up hiring me.

is one reason to give 2-week notice when resigning at a company. Can't count the number of times I have run into someone from a company I worked for in the past at other companies and remembered me.

I would stay the heck away from Nuance! I have worked with them and it was not a good experience for me. The region I worked in was horrible. There were multiple accounts with tons of account instructions (that were not always clear to understand) and the region manager constantly screaming about this problem and that problem (not at me, but addressing the entire region). I just felt very uncomfortable there. They bought out Transcend which is now in a lawsuit for not properly compensating their MTs.

Can anyone tell me if Precyse still has Precyse University for training. I went to work for them a few years ago and quit because I was only doing 1-2 hours a day for a couple weeks going through the University and waiting for things to be approved in order to move on and was not making any money, got fed up and quit. For MT Week last week we got Sonic Rocks which are testicle-shaped shiny black magnets. HR just sent around a warning that they're very strong magnets and to not keep them anywhere near the computer or anything that stores info magnetically because people are accidentally erasing their hard drives with these stupid things. I was just wondering what is happening at Precyse. I left Precyse last month after they sent my fourth account over to India, and there was no work. Management kept telling us to be patient and just use PTO, but we had not really had any work for months and had already used up most of the PTO.
