when they cut your pay and then ask you to absorb the printing and mailing costs of the ridiculous "new hire documents" for people who were innocently going along, doing their daily work, when out of the blue they were told of being merged into another company. Now really, is any of this OUR fault?? Like somebody said before, we are the faithful backbone of MDI and now we are being treated like scum off the street. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they need us to fill out all this crazy paperwork such as an employment application. We are not applying for anything...they are telling us it's this or nothing... IT IS NOT OUR IDEA to switch to another company. We already applied to MDI, so where is that paperwork and why can't it just be transferred or copies made for the Transcend Human Resource Department, after all, is not the information the same? This just doesn't make sense to me.
Another thing. Remember all the talk about calling Sue, Dorothy, Carlotta, et. al. if we needed clarification of anything? Well, did anyone take them up on it and ask individualized questions? Were they answered? If so, have the recent developments matched their answers? If not, I hope we all will hold them to their earlier words by e-mailing, calling, whatever is needed to point out to them that their promises of a couple of months ago seem to be going by the wayside. I would like to give them a chance to make good on their promises of keeping pay the same, keeping the 24 hour window, etc. Maybe if enough of us speak up and ask them outright why things are not going as they previously stated it would, we could hold them accountable for their earlier promises instead of just letting them get away with turning into liars.
